Chapter 187 - Serena Prince: Love of Magic - chapter 184

Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Scott Fellman.

August 22, 2075 - Serena's POV.

I blinked a few times before the drowsiness faded as I unwound my bronze piercing. I moaned with pleasure as I felt Rebecca and Lucy's warm bodies pressed against mine.

Or, well, looking down, and Rebecca was practically on top of me, sleeping lazily, drooling on my chest while I hugged her. Meanwhile, Lucy was turning her back to me, but her body was close enough to feel the warmth.

I used a little magic to keep them asleep while I used a portal beneath me to escape Rebecca's grasp. Once out of bed, I stretched lazily, moaning with pleasure.

Last night was truly pleasant, and I couldn't help but smile slightly. Without even getting dressed, I went downstairs from where the bed was, and I found GLaDOS glaring at me. Though her hands were moving over the device, she was tinkering with.

She was sitting in a small, fairly comfortable seat, and in front of her was Adam Smasher's Dragoon body in all its slightly disarmed glory as GLaDOS worked on it.

I smiled broadly at her.

"My dear wife." I purred with pleasure as I approached her.

"Don't you even dare to," I ignore her. I lift her up easily, sit on the sofa, and place her on my lap, then I hug her tightly from behind, squeezing her lightly. She grunts in annoyance.

"What's wrong? I thought you'd be happier if I didn't bother you all night?" I asked playfully, resting my chin on GLaDOS's head. She just snorted.

"It would have been, if you weren't filtering your emotions through the bond." GLaDOS growled, I hummed softly and smiled broadly.

"You can completely sever the mental link from your side." I teased her. "Actually, I felt your mind hovering for half the night... curious?" I asked playfully as my hands encircled GLaDOS's small body. She just protested.

"Of course not. I'm GLaDOS, I'm an artificial intelligence, I don't have... such needs. Humans are animals, exchanging fluids and doing... that." GLaDOS snarled, sounding disgusted. I chuckled slightly.

"You didn't seem too upset while you were in my mind." I teased her, and GLaDOS shuddered slightly.

"It was just an experiment. I wanted to find out how my euphoric reward system differs from a natural orgasm; maybe I can reduce or eliminate the system." GLaDOS defended herself, and I chuckled slightly.

"Of course, of course," I said playfully. GLaDOS was about to growl again. "What are you working on? I thought you'd leave the Dragoon body in one of the warehouses," I asked, changing the subject and taking pity on her as I looked at the enormous frame.

"They're full," GLaDOS said casually. "Between the Militech Chimera and everything I looted from DV Ebunike and the surrounding area, the warehouses where I put them are now overflowing." GLaDOS said, and I blinked a couple of times.

"Why do you need all the weapons and implants that were there?" I asked, confused.

"I don't need them, per se, but they're useful for selling on the black market. Since you're so against stealing things I want, but which aren't 'essential' in your words, I have to buy them, and the money we brought is running out quickly."

"The money I'll make as Ripperdoc won't be enough, so... weapons. It's free money." GLaDOS said, shrugging. I opened my mouth before shrugging too.

"As long as you take care of it." I said dismissively, and GLaDOS nodded. I glanced down at what GLaDOS was still holding, which she was disassembling, and recognized it immediately. "The Militech Chimera Core?" I asked curiously.

"Adam Smasher's Dragoon body didn't have an equipped power source; in fact, it was very incomplete, making it completely useless. I finished completing the inner body, but it still needed a power source, which is complicated. That body has a very high energy demand. I'm comparing the Chimera's power core to the Dragoon body's specifications."

"I would have to adapt it, but the Chimera's power core is capable of generating more than enough energy. A compact fusion microreactor would be truly impressive if it weren't such a hassle to maintain."

"They would be capable of operating autonomously for weeks, hopefully months, before needing maintenance. Besides the significant energy loss and many other inherent problems with the fusion microreactor, it's simply annoying," GLaDOS said with a grimace. I blinked.

"Why do you want Dragoon's body to move?" I asked, confused. "Besides, can't you create a power source that you use? I'm sure your body is capable of generating far more energy than anything you find in this world. Or... didn't Aperture create a compact power source? " I asked, curious.

"No, Aperture unfortunately wasn't in the energy business, so there's nothing compact enough to fit inside a Dragoon's body to power it," GLaDOS said nonchalantly. " And I can't place magic cores; it's useless. I want to create something where I can automate their creation, but for now, I can only replicate magic cores myself."

"I don't have time to waste constantly creating dozens of magical energy cores; it would be a waste of time." GLaDOS snorted.

"Wait, you want to automate the creation of Dragoon bodies? Why would you want an army of them? " I asked incredulously. GLaDOS just snorted.

"I don't want an army, I just need spare parts for when they eventually break down when I put them inside testing chambers." GLaDOS sneered, and I blinked before turning slightly pale.

"You want to recreate P-Body and Atlas and give them the same bodies as Smasher?" I asked incredulously, GLaDOS nodded.

"When will I have my enrichment center? Of course. But only Atlas. P-Body will get the Cerberus." GLaDOS said nonchalantly. My mouth fell open, and I paled slightly. That sounded even more awful. But I sighed.

"I mean, even if you have to recreate them... I don't think it would take that long to create a lot of magic cores. I don't think they'd be as easy to destroy as the first Atlas and P-Body bodies." I argued slightly.

"Please, Atlas and P-Body were idiots. I'm improving their AI, of course, but even so, I'm considering magic tests, much more lethal tests. Anything in my repertoire or yours is capable of easily destroying the Dragoon body. On a good day, I've had to rebuild the pair of idiots at least 30 times," GLaDOS said nonchalantly.

"That... if it's too many times." I conceded wearily before humming softly.

"And can't we make the cores indestructible? I can place large amounts of enchantments on them, and you'd just reuse them." I said after thinking for a moment, GLaDOS's fingers pausing slightly.

"Are they... indestructible to magic?" GLaDOS asked curiously.

"No." I sighed reluctantly. GLaDOS just snorted.

"Then it's no good to me." She grunted. I snorted, amused. Let's see… I was about to suggest using Philosopher's Stones as a power source, but I suppose it's the same problem, or worse, since I needed to use souls to create them.

It would be the greatest waste in the world, and I've used philosopher's stones for far more insignificant things before.

"Hmm, hextech gems?" I asked curiously, humming to myself. GLaDOS couldn't turn to look at me, but I could sense her confusion. I pulled out my phone and started using The Company's internet connection. Before long, I was showing GLaDOS all the information about the Hextech gems in Arcane, from League of Legends.

"Believe me, I said I wanted something easier to build and definitely something much more stable," GLaDOS said dryly. "These things are more unstable than the fusion microreactor; they'll explode and destroy my entire enrichment facility before it's even finished." GLaDOS snorted. I pouted.

"Okay, another option... let's see... how about an Arc Reactor?" I asked while humming. I quickly flipped the page to show Iron Man's Arc Reactor.

"3 gigajoules per second?!" GLaDOS exclaimed, slamming the Chimera's core as she grabbed the phone and snatched it from me. "This... is... incredible. The amount of energy and stability it has just from palladium makes it several times more productive than a normal-sized uranium fission reactor."

"What's most impressive is that it seems to have a thermodynamic efficiency that borders on the magical; there is no residual heat, otherwise a small fraction of it would be more than enough to melt the core, but it remains completely stable at all times."

"Powered by this newly synthesized element, it can increase its already high specifications even further; it is capable of operating autonomously for years and is completely clean and efficient energy. Even when destroyed, it is not even capable of exploding due to its stability."

"If... this worked, it would be more than capable of powering and augmenting any robot or armor or tank, or really, any tool or creation that I am capable of creating in the short term that is not weapons of mass destruction. They are capable of being used in parallel without any problem and working in sync to generate even more power."

"They're as small as a fist so that they can fit anywhere. It's... impressive." GLaDOS muttered quickly as she read through all the specifications of Iron Man's Arc Reactor. Should I be worried about the mention of weapons of mass destruction?

I didn't understand what 3 gigajoules per second meant; it was enough to keep an entire city powered for decades, or to power Iron Man's suit for a short period of time, using all its weapons.

So I didn't want to know what kind of stronger weapon could be created that the Arc Reactor couldn't power.

"And entirely replicable with ease. As long as I have the blueprints for the reactor and the new element, you could automate a room to constantly create them, or I could create hundreds of them with alchemy. The new element, although artificially synthesized, is still perfectly replicable with alchemy." I subtly shifted the subject.

"Buy it." GLaDOS insisted quickly. We had plenty of credits, and the Arc Reactor really did seem worth it. I shrugged and headed to the purchasing section with the other Contractors and—

My eyes widened slightly. 30 credits for the Arc Reactor blueprints and the method for synthesizing the new element? It was more expensive than I expected; it's more expensive than a T5, which made it more expensive than GLaDOS herself, but still not so expensive that I couldn't buy it.

The Arc Reactor and its element are the core of Iron Man's suit, of virtually all his inventions; even if it wasn't the suit itself, the reactor was far more important.

Arc Reactor + Tony Stark's New Element [-30]

Once I bought it, the plans came in every possible format. They were available digitally, I could get a physical book with all the details, or even download them into my head immediately.

I chose the latter option while opening the link with GLaDOS. The information quickly downloaded into our minds. I grimaced slightly at the new information, but I promptly put it to good use.

I took out a piece of metal, clapped lightly, touched it, and quickly followed all the blueprints, while GLaDOS supplied all the missing data, such as specifications on sizes and materials.

In a few seconds, I held a fully functional Arc Reactor in my hand, its core glowing a brilliant sky blue with the Badassium. GLaDOS gently took it in her hands, drew a small cable from her body, and connected it to the Arc Reactor.

"Perfect," GLaDOS said, smiling slightly. "We have to modify the Dragoon!" GLaDOS said excitedly, magically pulling the Dragoon's arm toward us.

She immediately opened the mental link and began issuing commands. I started to follow them. We both remained silent as our hands moved in unison over all the parts that GLaDOS brought toward us.

We made change after change after change, until we heavily modified the already heavily modified Dragoon—especially its exterior. GLaDOS had a particular aesthetic, very different from Arasaka and Adam Smasher's taste.

Smasher's body was completely black, with aggressive angles and an imposing, very intimidating appearance. The aesthetics of GLaDOS, or Aperture—at this point, I didn't know which was the origin—were the complete opposite.

GLaDOS's designs favored white over any other color, almost to the point of looking sterile; they had smooth curves and were even elegant most of the time.

And Smasher's now-modified body proved it. It wasn't a radical change that made it unrecognizable, but it now looked much less intimidating than before, even though I was sure it had better specifications than the original.

"Damn, last night was fantastic." Rebecca's voice snapped us out of our reverie, and our hands paused for a moment. I looked up and saw Rebecca lazily descending the stairs, still completely naked and making no effort to cover herself.

She stretched slightly halfway up the stairs before lightly scratching her head with the Malorian in her hand. I looked at her body without any shame, even when I heard GLaDOS snort in my arms.

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty." I said playfully as my hands began moving again, along with GLaDOS's.

"Morning," Rebecca said with a smile as she looked at me. Then she blinked and glanced at GLaDOS, her eyes widening slightly. "Good morning," she greeted her more cautiously. GLaDOS just glanced at her and went back to work.

"Good morning." Lucy grunted as she approached, still entirely naked. She stopped at the edge of the stairs to look at Rebecca and smiled broadly. "Good morning... Pillow Princess." Lucy teased with a huge grin. Rebecca froze in place before blushing furiously.

"I'm not a Pillow Princess!" Rebecca exclaimed indignantly, though with a hint of embarrassment. Lucy sneered.

"Please, you let Serena do all the work, she practically fucked you from head to toe, and you just let her, that's the definition of a Pillow Princess." Lucy mocked, Rebecca blushed, and flipped Lucy the bird.

"Die, Gonk! You were the same! She practically used you as a sex toy!" Rebecca retorted, embarrassed. Lucy just shrugged and leaned back against the railing of the upper floor.

"I wanted to get fucked, and she fucked me really hard, it was the best fuck I've ever had... basically ever, I'm not complaining." Lucy said with a mocking smile.

"Me neither!" Rebecca grumbled, Lucy just smiled condescendingly.

"I'm sure it was, but I remember a little gremlin practically announcing that she was going to fuck 'the tall, beautiful woman' - That's nothing like what happened last night." Lucy smiled broadly as Rebecca blushed deeply.

"Die, Gonk!" Rebecca yelled in embarrassment. I just burst out laughing as I stood up and let GLaDOS out of my clutches.

"Don't worry, Becca, I love that you're my little Pillow Princess." I purred seductively as I approached her. Rebecca blushed even more.

"You die too, Gonk!" Rebecca growled as she pushed and dodged me. "Is there food in this house?" Rebecca snarled, completely changing the subject. I blinked a couple of times.

" Ah... I knew I was forgetting something. I was going to make breakfast, but I got distracted by GLaDOS." I said absentmindedly as I headed to the kitchen. "Sit down for a few minutes, I'll make breakfast... or lunch, given the time. Wow, I lost track of time." I muttered, checking the time. Rebecca just nodded.

"Right, the wife, what are you doing?" Rebecca asked as she sat down near GLaDOS before her gaze fell on the Dragoon we had modified, her eyes widening. "That's Smasher's Dragoon?!" she asked incredulously. "What did you do to it?!" Her voice was almost horrified.

"Improved it." GLaDOS mocked as she stood up, approached Dragoon's chest, and began tinkering with it.

"That... changed quite a bit for one night." Lucy murmured as she also approached.

"I work quickly. Serena helped me." GLaDOS said simply as she grabbed the Arc Reactor and placed it on her chest, then connected several cables to her body.

"Speaking of her... You really don't mind if we... You know... did that?" Rebecca asked awkwardly, making Lucy snort.

"Subtle, Rebecca, subtle. And a little late." Lucy mocked, and Rebecca glared at her. GLaDOS just shrugged.

"Better you than me. After last night, do you really think one person can satisfy her? " GLaDOS mocked. Both opened their mouths and closed them in disbelief.

"I really feel sorry for your pussy." Rebecca said sympathetically; you could really hear the compassion and pity for GLaDOS. Lucy was also looking at her with pity. I could only huff loudly as I prepared all the ingredients.

"I'm not that bad." I pouted. GLaDOS growled.

"You sexually exhausted your other three wives, and all three had enhanced stamina. You're a fucking sex demon, literally," GLaDOS mocked, and I froze because, yeah... she was right... Maybe I am that bad...

"You have three other wives?!" Rebecca shouted incredulously as she looked at me. I froze slightly.

Ah… I had forgotten to mention that to her.

Now, a quick heads-up. Just like last year, I'm always extremely busy the last two weeks of December with the holidays, so it's possible that during those weeks I'll only be able to release one chapter at most per week, if I even manage to finish them.

Those dates would be Friday, December 26th, and the following one, Friday, January 2nd. I'll give you another heads-up the week before, but I wanted to give you a heads-up now!
