Chapter 9 - halloween chapter * Absolutely shit chapter with no lemon *

*major ranting at the end*

Y/n leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, scanning the living room for anything of interest while he waited for Uzi to come out of her room. After a while, he rolled his eyes in boredom. Yet, what bothered him even more than that was his outfit, which was something he would never be caught dead wearing.

*plop*

Khan: Ah, Y/n, just the person I was looking for. Since you're stuck living here for some reason, I was wondering if you could lend me a hand.

While Y/n's attention was elsewhere, Khan entered the living room carrying a large box. He looked around for a second, noticed Y/n leaning against the wall, and walked over, placing a hand on his shoulder, which caused him to flinch back slightly, hitting his head in the process.

Y/n: Holy shit, Khan! You can't just sneak up on someone like that.

Y/n turned his head toward Khan, rubbing the back of his head as he tried to soothe the pain from hitting the wall. Khan looked at him with a mildly disapproving expression as those words reached his robotic ears.

Khan: Now, now, Y/n, you can't be using that kind of language in this religious household if you're going to live here.

*image here*

Y/n: ...What? Since when have you ever cared about religion?

Khan: From the moment I first laid my eyes on her.

Y/n's eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at Khan. There was only one person he could be referring to, and honestly, it was a bit strange hearing someone talk about a person you used to be romantically involved with.

Y/n: I thought we agreed that w-

Khan: Ah, yes! Door number one was a beauty in her heyday, and even now, she remains, along with the other two doors. Ever since then, I have been a proud member of the Doors Society.

Y/n blinked a few times, unsure if what he heard was correct. But once it finally sank in, he grasped his head and closed his eyes, letting out a tired groan.

Y/n: God, Khan, you're starting to make me question if there's more to your love for doors.

He was, of course, referring to a romantic interest, since the way he talks about them... well, it's a bit unsettling, to say the least. His obsession with them was something else.

Khan: Hahahahah, of course not....

Y/n:....

Y/n raised an eyebrow when Khan left his sentence unfinished, only increasing his suspicion. He pinched the bridge of his nose before speaking again, this time hoping to steer the conversation elsewhere.

Y/n: So? What did you need help with?

Khan: "coughing." Well, as you know, today is Halloween, so I was wondering if you would lend me a hand with decorating Felicia.

Y/n: Who?

Khan: Oh, she's just the sweetest person you could meet. Every year, she loves dressing up and spreading that good old holiday cheer.

Y/n:... Sure, whatever.

Khan: Great, just follow me. We only have a few hours before sunset, and she wants to look her absolute best!

Khan was the first to leave, with Y/n close behind. He paused briefly, looked back at Uzi's door, then sighed and hurried to catch up with Khan.

Khan: By the way, I really love your Halloween outfit. It's quite bold of you to wear it.

Y/n: "Blushing" S-Shut up.

Y/n quickly looked away from Khan, his face flushing bright red and showing signs of agitation from the comment. Still, he followed Khan as they walked toward the open front door. Before stepping a foot into the hallway, Y/n peered down both ways, then sighed and walked out with Khan.

Y/n: So, where should we go next? I don't want to spend more time outside than I already have to.

Khan: Oh, Y/n, with your bad jokes, she's right here.

Khan raised his hands upward and to his right in a presenting manner. Following the direction of his hands, Y/n paused for a moment, glancing at Felicia, seeing her in all of her "buaty."

Y/n: Khan.... That's your front door.

Khan: And that doesn't change anything between us. "He turns to the door." Isn't that right, baby?

Y/n:

Y/n closed his eyes while clutching his head, feeling a migraine coming on. He should have realized Khan was talking about a door, not a person.

Khan: "coughing." Now then.

He finally set the box he was carrying on the floor and opened it, revealing its contents inside. Inside was a mix of Halloween decorations, including spiders, webbing, and a dead skeleton that looked a bit too realistic, just the usual decorations you'd put outside your house.

Khan: Now, Y/n, since this is your first time with my dear Felicia, you need to be extra careful with her and take things slow. You can't be too rough with her because she has a small frame.

Y/n looked at Khan, wondering if this was some sort of sexual fantasy of his. Otherwise, it just sounded very, very weird.

Y/n: So... we are just decorating your door?

Khan: Yes, Felicia rarely receives visitors, so we need to make her look as horrifying as possible.

Y/n: Alright, fine, just give me the stuff.

Y/n took a step closer to the door, examining it for what he could potentially do with the deconation before glancing back to a sight he was not expecting.

Khan:

Y/n:... what are you doing?

Khan: Sitting down in this perfectly placed chair so I could hand you the decoration.

Y/n:... whatever, just hand me something.

Y/n couldn't help but feel lost in thought, contemplating the oddly placed chair and wondering more about the chair fantasy idea Khan might be into, because who would ever be interested in something like that?

*imge here*

Yep, whoever in their right mind...

Khan began passing the decoy over to Y/n, which caused him to finally focus on decoying while he waited for Uzi.

* Time skip brought to you by Y/n hanging the decoration on the door while Khan sat down in a clearly obvious cuck chair.*

Taking a few steps back, y/n rested his hands on his hips, admiring the view of his hard work. A faint smile appeared on his face as he appreciated the moment. He couldn't recall the last time he had the chance to celebrate the holiday.

*image here*

Khan: Ah, excellent work, Y/n. I know that if we work together, she would look absolutely terrifyingly beautiful.

Khan finally stood up from his chair and moved beside y/n with his hand on his shoulder like two friends enjoying the hard work... The only difference, however, was that Y/n did all the decorating and planning for where everything goes, while Khan only sat back and watched.

A small tick appeared at the corner of his head, but after a few seconds of Y/n closing his eyes to calm down, he eventually sighed and looked up with his arms crossed.

"Soft rattle"

Looking up at the door, it swung open as Uzi stepped out of the apartment with her costume, her eyes shifting between the two with a slightly confused expression, wondering why Y/n was with her father.

Khan: Ah, Uzi, there you are. What do you think of me and Y/n's hard work on decorating Felicia?

Uzi: ...Who? Ugh, whatever, Y/n, come on, we need to meet up with N and the others.

Khan: Excuse me, young lady, where do you think you're going on this fine night?

Uzi: Getting some robo candy?

Khan: Hmm... well, alright, you two have a safe night and Y/n.

Y/n: Yeah?

Khan: If anything, and I mean anything, happens to Uzi, I will use this wrench to smash y-

Uzi: UGH! That's enough, come on, Y/n.

Without waiting for a reply, she took his hand and led him away from her father, moving further down the corridor. They passed by many decorated doors and posters, one of which piqued his interest.

After a few minutes of walking, Uzi looked back to make sure her father was out of sight. Once she confirmed he was gone, she closed her eyes briefly and let out a sigh. When she opened them, she realized she was still holding his hand and quickly pulled away, a faint blush on her face.

They stood there in awkward silence, with only distant voices echoing down the hallway. As they stood there, Y/n finally took a moment to look at Uzi's costume.

*image here*

Standing before him, Uzi wore revealing witch robes with high ends that exposed her legs, leaving little to the imagination about what her jacket usually hid before. The arm sleeves extended beyond her arms, hiding her hands, and her chest featured a small boob window that revealed a bit of cleavage.

The final touch to complete the outfit was her witch hat, which had a small, cute bat sewn into it.

Y/n: Nice outfit.

Uzi: Tch, you were the one who chose it.

Y/n: Whoa! Hold on a second, don't blame me, you're the one who took it from that skeleton.

They exchanged glances before Uzi started to laugh softly, both from the friendly banter and something else.

Y/n: Are we still on?

Uzi: Heh, just you wait. Once we meet with the others, I bet N would question it.

Y/n: You know, though, that costume of yours really does look great on you, even a little bold.

Hearing those words from him, she quickly turned her face from his view as a purple blush appeared on her face. Even though she was trying her best to hide her feelings, another part of her body betrayed her true feelings.

Uzi: S-Shut up.

*NOM NOM*

Y/n: Uzi... Your uh tail?

Uzi: W-what about it?

Looking over, she noticed that his eyes were focused slightly lower. Lowering her gaze to his hand, she realized her tail had wrapped around Y/n's hand and was nibbling on it.

Realizing what was happening, her eyes opened wide for a second, registering the situation and her face, now covered in embarrassment, as she quickly pulled her tail loose and started walking down the hallway again, this time leaving Y/n behind.

Y/n briefly scratched his cheek briefly before looking down at his hand, which was bleeding again, something that had almost become routine. Without wasting any time, Y/n followed Uzi, bandaging his wound as he went.

Y/n: Come on, Uzi, there's no need to be embarrassed about it.

Uzi: Bite me!

Y/n: Well, if you insist.

Uzi: What? No don- Ugh~

*Time skip of Y/n returning the favor by biting Uzi's neck.*

J leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, glancing around with narrowed eyes and a clearly annoyed expression on her face.

She couldn't believe she was being forced to attend this pointless event. Even more, her outfit made her want to cut off her head or destroy her core, but she knew she couldn't do that. The only reason she was even there was that "she" had asked her to come, but still, the outfit "she" had picked for her was hideous.

She sighed softly, placing her hand on her screen as if trying to rub her eyes, already exhausted by this pointless event, before glancing at the other two.

J: They're late.

N: Oh, come on, J, give them a little more time.

J: If I were in charge of what we were doing, we would have already left.

V: Heh, well, you're not.

N: Come on, lighten up, will you! It's not every day we get to wear these awesome costumes we found. Even V is excited about finding candy.

V: Heh yeah, yeah... No, not at all. What they're doing is really dumb, but I wouldn't mind tagging along if it means I get to cut up more drones.

While chatting, J glanced down one of the hallways for a second, noticing two pairs of dark figures walking toward them. She just rolled her eyes before finally moving forward, away from the wall, and kept her eyes on the two people approaching.

J: Ugh, finally you two idiots arrived.

Uzi: Yo

N: Uzi!

Uzi: N!

The pair ran toward each other, with N extending his hands in a welcoming gesture. Without stopping, Uzi leapt into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck as they spun around several times before N finally slowed down and set her back on the ground.

Y/n stood on the opposite side of J., exchanging glances, causing Y/n to briefly smirk before attempting to hide by shaking his head.

Y/n: I see I'm not the only one stuck wearing a weird costume.

J: U-Ugh, don't group me with you... idiot.

With her arms still crossed, she dramatically turned away from him, concealing her embarrassment at being seen in the hideous outfit she had to wear. For a few seconds afterward, she fiddled with her twintails while sneaking a glance back at him, although by now he was watching the two other drones talking in the room.

N: Whoa, Uzi, you look great in your Halloween costume, you're a... uh, vampire witch?

Uzi: Uh? No, I'm a normal, witch? What makes you think I'm a vampire?

V: Hee, maybe it has something to do with that very obvious bite mark on your neck, but who am I to say what I think?

N: Yeah, those marks.

N looked at her with an innocent and confused expression. Behind him, J moved to stand beside V, with her hands on her hips. Sharing a glance with V, they both looked over at Y/n, recognizing him as the most likely culprit behind the bite.

However, as he felt their eyes on him, Y/n casually continued smiling, appearing completely unfazed.

Uzi: Oh, "blushing," you got it correct. I want to surprise you so we can match a bit.

N: Haha, I knew it, you couldn't fool me, Uzi.

Uzi: haha... yeah... sure

J: Good grief, the nitwit is oblivious.

V: You can say that again.

Y/n: So N, you're dressing as a vampire then, since... well, Uzi mentioned she was matching with you.

N: Yeah! I even got V to match my outfit. Isn't that right, V?

V: I didn't agree at all. He just came out of nowhere and forced this outfit on me.

N: Hah, sure did. I got our outfit from two dead human bodies I found, which I had to strip down to the bones.

Y/n: Oh, very disturbing imagery... thanks, N, I guess. Oh, can't forget J... as... well, uh, nice outfit... I think?

J rolled her eyes, clearly showing just how much she dislikes her costume. She looked at Y/n for a moment before a slight smug grin appeared on her face as she flicked her twin tail over her shoulder.

J: You shouldn't be the one talking, Y/n, your outfit... is just a m-

Y/n: No, God dammit, J. Uzi, and I thought N would say something, but no, you just had to be the one. Thanks a lot, fuck.

Uzi: Yes! Haha, I'm the winner. Take that, Y/n!

N: I don't get it. What's wrong with his outfit?

V: Come on blockhead, it's a maid outfit.

(Y/n's costume)

Y/n was dressed in a cat girl maid Halloween costume featuring a large ribbon on the back and a cat tail. His stomach was exposed, with sleeveless sleeves, and he wore a small heart-shaped name tag that said "Chocolate." He wasn't sure where Uzi got the outfit, but he hated it.

Y/n: Thanks, J. Now I'm going to be self conscious about this outfit.

V:... So, where does the tail connect to?

Y/n quickly turned his head toward her, only to see V leaning against a nearby pile of boxes, her claws out as she nibbled on them, or perhaps she was playing with her mouth. Her eyes seemed to be looking somewhere lower on his body as she smirked a little, though her eyes gave off the feeling that she was really interested in his costume, though maybe not for the right reason.

Y/n: It wraps around my waist? Where else would it go?

V shrugged her shoulders, although it was quite obvious she was implying something much more perverted by the fact she could easily see the belt for the tail around his waist.

J: If you hate it so much, then why are you wearing it?

Y/n: Uzi and I made a bet that no one would mention it. But since you mentioned it, I fucking lost.

V:... So?

Y/n: So?

V: What does the... that purple thing get for winning?

Uzi: You know, I have a name.

V: Whatever

Uzi: That's just a secret between me and him. But seriously, we're running late, so we need to hurry if we want the best robo candy.

N: OO, I want to get some candy!

J: Besides this being really stupid, where do we even get the candy?

Y/n: I haven't really thought about it before. Where do we get the candy from?

Y/n turned to his side, glancing back at Uzi, waiting for an answer since, now that he thought about it, he had never seen any kid drones walking around the halls.

Uzi: Duh, we go door to door knocking for some candy, and if we don't get it, well, let's just say... they're going to need some knee surgery tomorrow.

Y/n: Aren't we kind of... too old for this?

Uzi: Of course not, and plus, we have a kid, Soul, with us, "present N".

N: hehe Hallo!,

J: Not sorry to burst your bubble, but we kind of killed all the children, so I doubt they would be passing out candy.

V: They were all surprisingly tasty.

Uzi: Well, do you have a better idea, huh?

Y/n: I actually noticed on the way here that your classroom was doing some kind of haunted house in the gym.

V: Oh, yeah... I think of what her name... Lizzy? Yeah, I think that was it. She's part of it.

Uzi: UGH, fine, whatever. We can do that instead of getting candy.

Y/n: I wouldn't even be able to eat the candy.

J: Uh-huh, sure.

Uzi: So, what are we waiting for? Let's get scared.

J: We can't, we are still waiting for her.

Uzi: Ugh... There's always something.

Don't worry, she'll be back any second.

.

.

.

Uzi: N.

N: Hhm?

Uzi: It's been 30 minutes, and she's still not here.

N: Come on, Uzi, I'm sure she'll be back soon. Man, you and J are very similar.

Uzi: "glaring at N" You want to say that again, huh N.

Feeling that he might have said something to hurt her feelings, he kept quiet, but even then, Uzi got mad at him.

Uzi: Ugh, come on, Y/n, let's go check out the haunted house. You guys can wait for her.

???: Waiting for who?

The group turns their attention down one of the hallways, noticing a figure walking toward them from the shadows. After a moment, the light finally illuminated the figure.

???: Are we going trick-or-treating or not?

Y/n: Oh, hey Tessa.

Tessa: Y/n! Great outfit!

Y/n: Yeah... No

Update: This was actually posted last night and after. Talking with the people on wattpad I think I'm going to go through with this. You can write if you want though

So, I'm sure you noticed that, around the part where the characters meet up, the quality went down. And, well, obviously, the chapter ended with not 2, not 1, but 0 lemons; it was basically unfinished.

And to explain... well, there's nothing to explain. I just found myself growing more frustrated with the lack of progress I was making, so I just decided to post whatever the fuck I had, so at least you still get something from the chapter.

And it just sucks because there was so much planned, but then I had to cut certain things due to time constraints. And then we had passed six days since Halloween, and I feel exhausted from writing. I suppose I don't want to give it up, but I've been feeling less motivated to write lately. This seemed to have started sometime around March, as that was about the last time I had a working writing schedule, and everything went downhill from then on.

I've been thinking about possibly getting rid of the writing schedule altogether and just writing whatever I want; perhaps that would lead to better results, but I honestly don't know.
