Jack had received a quest to win a fight, the reward for completing the quest made him more serious than before. He realized that if he could complete this quest he would be able to level up and obtain some points.
Ok, I've got to defeat this dude, Jack thought to himself.
Although he had an idea of what his opponents ability was, he tried using his scan skill so he would be sure, as well as confirm if his system worked in the game.

Great, the guy is just a grade 2, I might be able to take him on easily. Just hope the guy does not get too tough.
The countdown had completed, and the fight had begun. Flair Gust came rushing towards Jack at an amazing pace. It's easy to guess he was propelling himself forward via his wind ability. Luckily for Jack, he was a good distance away from Flair Gust before he started dashing forward.

Jack activated the skill immediately, doubling his speed stats. He was fast enough to keep up with Flair Gust.
Flair Gust threw out a fist at Jack, but it was easily avoided by Jack. The fight went on like that, Flair Gust being the aggressor, while Jack avoided his attacks. Flair Gust mostly depended on his ability, and this was an advantage for Jack.
He hoped to drain his opponents MC CELLS before he started attacking.
Just five minutes into the match, Flair was looking exhausted, and based on the way the guy had been attacking, Jack could guess the guy was an inexperienced fighter, and he had come up with the perfect tactics to defeat him.
Come on, why don't you want to attack? Flair thought to himself as he attacked Jack.
If I keep this up I'll run out of MC CELLS, and at the same time I can't let my guard down or I'll be defeated.
His thoughts of reserving his MC CELLS had come quite late as he was on his last attack, which he wasted.
Jack who had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack, noticed his opponent was catching his breath and had stopped attacking. He ran towards Flair and just as he had done against Harry, he summoned every ounce of energy he could feel, and he gave his opponent a devastating uppercut to win the match.
The best part for Jack was he did not have to use his DELUDE skill on his opponent, and he had won with just one attack.
Hmmmm that was quite easy. This system is really awesome.

The AI voice declared Jack the winner of the fight, and he had found out again via his system.

Jack was teleported back to his space where he was to select a different fighter. Clicking on the random select option, he was teleported to the Arena to fight.
It seems today is my lucky day. Jack thought with a grin after he figured out his opponents grade. He was up against a grade 2.1 ability user with the wind ability just as Flair Gust.
Once again the AI voice started by announcing the fighters.
The fight was about to begin, and Jack wanted to end the fight as quickly as possible. They both made eye contact, as they waited, and after the countdown was completed, Jack quickly activated his DELUDE skill while still making eye contact with Wave.
After activating the skill, he rushed towards his opponent, unfortunately for him he received a system notification that would ruin his plan.

He Soon found that out the hard way.....
Wave propelled himself upwards using his wind ability, and almost instantly he pushed himself down, giving Jack a terrible kick to the head.

If Jack was not in the game, he was sure he would be living with a bad headache for a few days.
Damn, is his leg made of metal?
My HP is down to 70, and the match just started. This guy might be a real threat.
Jack picked himself up quickly and he activated his QUICK FEETS skill.
One feature of the game is that it allows fighters to recover quickly that is in terms of feeling pain.
Unlike his former opponent, wave was quite skilled and he made sure he used his ability to match his skill.
Activating the QUICK FEETS skill, Strange J ran towards his opponent ready to deal a blow. Wave hadn't expected this and was surprised by Jack's speed however, he was able to slow Jack's fist with his wind ability, long enough to avoid the blow. But Jack didn't stop their as he continued releasing attacks hoping to cause some damage. Wave was able to avoid most of these attacks with trails of sweat running down his face.
Damnit, I can't keep this up for long or I'll exhaust my MC CELLS. Wave thought to himself thinking of a different way to approach the situation in front of him.
Once again, Jack had decided to go with the same game plan, hoping to drain his opponents MC while being on the defensive.
Wave opened up his palm producing balls of wind that headed towards Jack. The balls weren't so impressive, they were almost visible and we're slow compared to when they would be summoned by a higher grade.
Wave had let out five wind balls which were heading towards Jack. Unaware of where the attacks would come from, Jack spun his body avoiding the first two.
As he landed back on the arena, for some reason he felt good after performing the spin.
I didn't even know I could do that. Jack said to himself, his eyes still locked on his attacker.
Shortly after, one of the attacks managed to hit him by the side. He was sent sliding on his knee.

Seeing the notification, for some reason Jack had a slight smirk.
*Yeah, I know you guys are wondering why the whack do I have a smirk after I received an attack.Well, based on the fact Wave has stopped attacking I guess he has finally ran out of MC*
I can finally end this match.
Jack quickly gets up and immediately he starts dashing towards Wave.
At this point Wave was a bit lost, not exactly expecting this sudden action from his opponent, nevertheless he was ready to block whatsoever attack that came his way.
When Jack ran towards his opponen in a zig zag motion, he kept on jumping from the left to the right inching closer to Wave.
Wave was perplexed by Strange.J's actions , but he could not afford to do anything else because he had exhausted a lot of energy, so his only option was to wait for whatever was to come.
After covering the distance between them, Jack was ready to give his finishing blow. He throws out a fist towards Wave, the attack itself was slow and was knocked to the side by Wave.
For Jack though, that was what he wanted. After his punch was successfully blocked, his opponent was open and without delay he releases an uppercut that sends Wave flying back.
Standing after giving the uppercut, the AI voice announces the winner

Jack had also received a system notification that confirmed he had won the match.

This game would help me level up faster than I thought. I've got 36 minutes left to get more points.
After thinking about this, Jack quickly starts a new match since he was had little time left, he wanted to earn as much point as he could to level up. He was determined to unfuse his brother from the strange system.
Hang in there Lex, I'll get you out of this system. Jack said as he clenched his fist.
The matches continued for the next 30 minutes, during the 30 minutes he had gone up against 4 opponents, this time they all had different abilities. The first two opponents Jack faced were relatively easy to deal with. While fighting the both of them, he decided he would be the aggressor since he wanted to earn more points with the little time he had.The last two though were rather difficult as they were both grade 3 and grade 4 ability users, luckily he was able to defeat the grade 3 but lost to the grade 4. In total, he won 3 of his last four matches and 5 matches in total.

Jack was close to levelling up, and a smile crept up his face. Shortly after, he was teleported out of the game as his time was up.
