Chapter 10 - Twenty Days Later

It's already been over twenty days since I arrived here, and I am working on my Supreme Combat Exercise. My stage is now at the Peak of Specialist stage—a great improvement in twenty days. It was thanks to Ragnar, who has broken through his strain limit. He was a Tier 7, but now he is a King-class Monster, thanks to Mana Saint Talent, which ended up purifying his body too.

Though his looks remained the same, he holds a regal glow now—even if he is nothing but a small cub.

And most probably, the changes will begin to show as he grows up from this little kitten-like form into a great predator: the White Nether Lion.

And yes, White Nether—he is no longer a blue, cat-like cub, but now he is pure white from head to tail, with his tail tip and some mane strands having blackish-white flames.

These new White Nether Flames are 200% better than his previous flames. Elevating our powers to next rank.

But for now, most of my time is focused on the Supreme Combat Exercise. I've already created nine Seals. The Seals require more mental fortitude and mana—and I have both, thanks to my Reincarnation, which gives me a stronger soul, and the Mana Saint's enhancement that grants me more mana. That helped me complete the nine Seals already, and right now, I'm working on my 13th attempt to cover the tenth Seal. And as the stretch begins to come, so does my very first system task to completion.

After taking a deep breath I began, moving in poses as described in Supreme Comabt Exercise.

The first few poses were simple in comparison, like laying the groundwork—building strength, balance, and mana rhythm. But now, with each repetition, the true nature of the cycle reveals itself. The eleventh pose invokes heat in my core, pulling my mana into a spiraling flow, while the twelfth directs it outward, into my limbs, coating every muscle fiber in a dense sheath of energy.

I continued to move, even though my whole body felt like it was burning—like molten lava was surging through my veins. I gritted my teeth, my muscles twitching uncontrollably as I forced myself into the 24th pose. The moment I completed it, the silence was shattered.

A massive surge of mana was suddenly sucked from the crown of my head. I collapsed face-first, gasping as the sensation of a new Seal etched itself deep within me. But this time… it was different.

There were already nine Seals. But now, this new Seal didn't just sit alongside them—it began to merge with them. One by one, the previous Seals responded, binding together. And then, a brilliant green amethyst glow began to form—a single, consolidated Seal.

An Amethyst Seal.

It wasn't just power—it was soul-deep. I felt my body stabilizing, my soul resonating. This was no ordinary evolution. This… was the advantage of the Amethyst Seal. Not only did it enhance my mana and physical strength, but now, it was also strengthening my soul.

After some time, it finally ended. I smiled... watching the notification flash in front of me.

[Task Completed]

[Host gained one Random Skill Token]

[Host gained 1000 Gold Coins]

I sat down, wiping the sweat from my face as I opened my inventory. My eyes locked onto the skill token.

"Finally got it," I muttered, a grin creeping onto my face.

This was going to be good—at least, I hoped so.

"Use the skill token," I whispered.

The token floated out, shining with a soft glow before bursting into radiant light as the system chimed again:

[Congratulations, Host has obtained a Unique Class Skill: Necromicon]

[Necromicon: The Primordial Book of Necromancy. It holds the Origin of all Necromancy.]

[Effect: Allows the use of all Necromancy spells. More powers will unlock as the host grows in strength.]

[Current Subskills Unlocked: Skeleton Creation]

[Skeleton Creation: Allows host to summon basic Skeletons, one rank lower than the host. Types include: Warrior and Archer.]

◆ Necro Bolt - Allows host to fire a bolt of corrupted death mana that deals minor magic damage and may apply decay or slow effects on hit.

◆ Touch of the Deceased - Allows host to drain health and mana from a living target through physical contact. Can also empower summoned undead when used on them.

◆ Grave Whisper - Allows host to detect nearby corpses, undead, or hidden soul remnants within a certain radius. Useful for scouting or preparing summons.

*More skills will unlock as Host grows in power.

"Hm, it is somewhat good," I mumbled as I looked at it. In this world, where war is common, a necromancer will shine. There will be tons of death, so it's a powerful skill for this kind of world.

"Next is 1000 gold, but I can't get anything with just 1000 gold. All useful things are priced higher," I muttered, staring at the system interface. I then decided to focus on the sword.

"Time to hunt my very first monster," I mumbled as I equipped the sword and weighed it in my hands. The feeling was unfamiliar, but I'd get used to it quickly.

"Master, did you succeded?" Albert, my butler and protector, asked as I nodded.

"Yep, now that I have my met my master goal of creating the Amethyst seal earlier, I'm free to act. I'll probably be able to explore more in the next ten days," I added. I also planned to use the excuse of my imaginary master, so others wouldn't notice much.

Albert nodded, then asked, "So, what will you be doing, young master?"

"Hunting," I replied. "Let's head to Green Hill and hunt some monsters."

Albert looked thoughtful. "Did your master give you any new skills?" he asked.

I nodded.

"Okay then, young master, let's go."

He said, and with that, he went into my shadow, disappearing. He wouldn't reappear until I reached the death door.

Coming out of my apartment, I boarded a hover car to Green Hills. The hover car arrived, and I sat in. There's no driver, as it's an AI-driven car. It took off, and within minutes, I was there. These hover cars are incredibly fast, especially when Green Hills is over ten kilometers away. It helped me reach there in exactly three minutes.
