In the hotel
After dinner, Qin Wan received a call from Yu Huanyan.
He had just said "Miss Qin" when she heard Mu Shaochen talking with a woman in the corridor outside her door.
"Hold on, I'll give you a call."
After saying that, Qin Wan hung up the phone.
She tiptoed to the door and looked through the peephole.
That's when she realized that Mu Shaochen was staying in the room diagonally opposite hers.
The woman with him was the same one who had left the hotel with him earlier.
"Shaocheng, shall we go hiking tomorrow?"
"You want to go hiking?"
Mu Shaochen paused while using his keycard to open the door, turned his gaze, and looked at the woman by his side.
"Yeah, is that okay?"
"If you like it, sure. But my injury hasn't fully healed yet, so I might not be able to climb fast."
"What does it matter? We're not really going to hike anyway."
The woman's voice was soft and sweet, very pleasant to hear.
