Endless Nether Light shone upon the earth, and the ground began to writhe without cease as one creature after another bored up from below. These beings were covered head to toe in dark blue armor, with several dark red lines flickering across their heads. They stood over ten feet tall, several feet higher than a common Liao, their limbs thick and corded like bestial arms. What caught Wei Yuan off guard was that they were all in human form.
The range of the Nether Light's illumination was vast, and so the number of these creatures was likewise enormous. Wei Yuan swept his gaze across from afar and already saw several million, with more still surging up out of the ground.
