The Power Witches were enthusiastically rebuilding the fortress, unaware of what had transpired. Melted Dragon seemed oblivious as well, clearing the ruins with his hands and feet, treating himself as a mere few hundred ordinary Power Witches.
However, the entire fortress was suddenly shrouded in a layer of shadow, the ambient light dimmed significantly, no longer as scorching as before but instead exuding a coolness. Numerous Power Witches and Wild Witches paused their work, but when they saw Melted Dragon continuing as if nothing was amiss, they immediately calmed down and resumed their carefree labor.
Wei Yuan, however, was leading his surviving subordinates in rebuilding the blast furnace. He originally had three hundred Power Witches under his command, but now only a hundred survived, with over a dozen severely injured. Of the over four thousand Power Witches in the entire fortress, only over eight hundred survived the great battle.
