Not long after returning to the room, Jimmy left again, went back through the fire escape to the parking lot, and got into Miguel's car to wait together.
They took turns watching for a few hours. With the limited space in the car, they suffered quite a bit, but didn't notice anyone approaching Jimmy's vehicle. It wasn't until early morning that Jimmy saw a car pull into the parking spot next to his, "Miguel, something's happening." He nudged Miguel and opened the laptop to monitor the surveillance cameras.
The other party didn't get out immediately after parking, but waited a few minutes before opening the door and getting out. They crouched behind Jimmy's car, touching around the rear wheel area, then opened the gas cap from what they could see on the monitor.
"Go."
Jimmy pushed open the car door, flashed his flashlight, and pointed his gun at the person: "FBI, don't move."
