After prolonged surveillance, Jimmy finally made some progress. One of Mo Davis's men left the nightclub, got into a car by the roadside, and drove off. Jimmy quickly got into his car and followed; he was now truly on the trail.
Jimmy followed the car heading south, and as the traffic thinned, his tracking became increasingly difficult. Previously, a distance of thirty to forty meters sufficed, being able to keep up with just one or two cars between them. Now, with no other cars around, Jimmy had to lag nearly a hundred meters behind, worried about being spotted.
Having trailed for nearly an hour and left the city area, the car ahead turned into a small lane leading to an abandoned building standing isolated on the wilderness, surrounded by a dilapidated fence and covering a significant area.
Jimmy didn't dare follow directly. Instead, he drove a bit further, then parked by the roadside and walked over.
