Jimmy's plan to skip work didn't succeed. At 9 a.m., just when he was sound asleep, Hughes called: "Jimmy, come to my office later."
Jimmy, "Hughes, is it urgent? I just went through a night raid last night and had just lain down."
Hughes paused, "Alright, come over in the afternoon."
Jimmy put down the phone and continued to sleep. He decided to ignore Hughes for the time being; it probably wasn't anything serious.
In the afternoon, Jimmy arrived at Federal Square on time and first went to Hughes's office.
Jimmy, "Hughes, what did you need?"
Hughes, "Let's talk about what happened early this morning."
Jimmy, "We have a leak here. Ruiz is already looking into it. I was protecting a witness, but just one day after arriving at the safe house, six people came looking to shoot the witness."
Hughes frowned, "Ruiz hasn't reported this."
Jimmy, "No one likes OPR. If we let them investigate, it would disrupt the whole team. Ruiz can handle it himself."
