Miss raised her sword finger and pointed forward. Although it seemed slow, countless finger shadows appeared in front of her, interwoven with blue Sword Qi, rushing towards Ling Shuiyao.
The Sword Energy Cross performed barehanded might not be as sharp and overwhelming as when using a sword, but it was more flexible and unpredictable. Weapons are just extensions of the hand; no matter how you look at it, hands are more agile than weapons.
Facing the Sword Energy Cross, Ling Shuiyao put away her usual casualness, her expression becoming solemn, her eyes restrained, with reflections of Sword Qi in her clear pupils.
She didn't retreat or evade but took a step forward. Her left hand drew a circle in front of her, and her right hand thrust forward with a palm, engulfing sky-blue True Energy, penetrating through the circle's center.
Hiss...
The seemingly slow thrusting palm tore a visible airwave from the atmosphere, emitting a harsh tearing sound as if ripping through the air itself.
