For the rest of the half day, Lin Yang and Yue'er stayed in the camp without going out.
The Emperor Crabs they brought back at noon were still alive by evening, and they had another feast at night. Twenty crabs, they couldn't finish them in two meals.
The large crabs, weighing five to six pounds each, even after removing the bones and inedible parts, still had over a pound of pure meat. Lin Yang and Yue'er, with their cheeks puffed out, managed to devour only five or six crabs. The remaining seven or eight had to be left aside with a sigh, as they were too full to finish them.
They couldn't eat anymore, which was a boon for Xiong Da, who recently arrived at the camp, as well as the hunting dogs that had been there before.
Yue'er, with a pair of large scissors in hand, cut and cracked open the meaty crab legs to feed the little bear and the dogs.
