The next morning, as soon as Zhen Yu descended the staircase, she saw Han Mingyue standing alone amidst the chilly morning dew.
"I'll take it!" Even though Zhen Yu was only symbolically carrying a bag of food, Han Mingyue immediately reached out to take it over and then carefully observed Zhen Yu's expression.
"I'm really fine!" After delivering this emotionless statement, Zhen Yu took the lead towards the school gate.
No way around it! She just wasn't in a good mood right now, so she couldn't even force the slightest hint of a smile!
However, after taking a couple of steps, she still dryly broached a subject, "You can just walk me to the school gate. I'll take a cab to the airport myself!"
"No, I must take you to the airport!" Han Mingyue rejected the idea without hesitation, "It's early in the morning and barely light out! There are so few people on the streets, it's not safe for you to take a car alone!"
