Chi Yue and Dai Qiu both showed expressions of shock.
Before they could figure out what was happening, they saw the old man take out a sample. "Have this tested, and when the results are out, contact me," he said.
As he spoke, he placed his business card on top of it.
Chi Yue glanced at the business card and was utterly astonished.
It was the Qi Family in Beijing!
She composed herself and declined, "I'm sorry, sir, but we are not currently accepting such tests. If possible, I suggest you contact the person in question and seek their consent before we can proceed."
The old man did not seem surprised by her words. "Is one million enough?"
Dai Qiu took a sharp intake of breath, standing next to Chi Yue, not daring to say a word.
Chi Yue remained relatively calm. "Sorry, this involves legal issues, and we can't accept it."
The old man's eyes glinted shrewdly. "Name your price, then."
