1956, Let's Wait and See
Ye Zhenzhen's lips curled slightly at the corners of her eyes, forming a thoughtful arc.
Her gaze fell unblinkingly on Mu Anran: "Miss Mu is indeed more sensible and knows when to advance or retreat."
Mu Anran looked up, meeting Ye Zhenzhen's slightly provocative gaze, and spoke neither humbly nor arrogantly: "Our studio's acceptance of Miss Ye Zhenzhen was originally an agreed term and obligation in our contract. I hope that in future work, we can cooperate happily."
Mu Anran's words made Ye Zhenzhen's expression turn somewhat unpleasant.
Because she deliberately emphasized the terms and obligations in the contract, implying that if not for the contract's constraints, their studio might not have accepted her.
"Hmph!"
Ye Zhenzhen let out a contemptuous sneer, folding her arms across her chest with a lazy attitude.
Her cat-like eyes fixed on Mu Anran, and her words were tinged with a subtle sense of antagonism: "Fine, let's wait and see then!"
