Mu Anran had long since taken off her high-heeled shoes, and now she was running barefoot with Yu Lingqian.
They went past the swimming pool, through a crowd filled with envious gazes, with Yu Lingqian holding her hand, leading her all the way to the top deck of the cruise ship.
"Why did you bring me here?" Mu Anran stopped in her tracks, slightly panting as she followed behind Yu Lingqian.
The top deck of the cruise was pitch-black, making it impossible to see anything at all.
Yu Lingqian's lips curled slightly into a smile as he gestured toward the night sky, "Look."
Mu Anran followed his gaze and looked over.
Just as his words fell, the dark night sky suddenly lit up as if struck by lightning, becoming as bright as daylight.
Soon after, a tremendous roar exploded across the night sky.
