The most frightened seemed to be Miss White Wine; even her voice of surprise and doubt was notably clearer than that of the other two.

Hu Ma was quite satisfied with their reactions and suitably lowered his voice, "Actually, I can't see through that old tree stump. He's too mysterious. But from the various details I've observed, I'm quite certain."
"Now, I've already made contact with that small Hall Officer he appointed. I also know that those Five Evil Gods came over and seemingly headed towards Old Yin Mountain. We don't know the specific reason, but it probably involves some grudges unknown to outsiders!"
"But since they're going to fight, if I just lend a hand, won't I have a chance to earn that small Hall Officer's favor and connect with that important person?"
