Although Tree City is lined with dense forests, a little bit of moonlight still manages to shine through and spill onto the ground. Right as Aling lay down on the bed, a beam of moonlight fell directly on his face!
It's truly beautiful! His already delicate features seemed even more three-dimensional and perfect under the moonlight. Aling noticed Chen Ergou's gaze fixed intently on his face and, feeling shy, lowered his head and softly said.
"Brother Ergou... you're making me shy!"
Chen Ergou chuckled and drew the curtain on the spectacle.
After hours of battle, Chen Ergou dozed off for a bit. By now, the sun was high in the sky over the Northern Desert. Chen Ergou stretched lazily, glanced at the peacefully sleeping Aling, smirked proudly, and then got dressed.
"Seeing Aling like this has a different charm!"
Aling's face was radiant, with a flush of red on his petite cheeks.
"After a night of tossing and turning, it's time for some good rest."
