Shi Mei and Ye Tiao finished looking at the machines and immediately placed orders for a variety of items for their bar, starving to the point of stomach growling.
They grabbed a quick bite at a random place, and by the time the two returned home, it was already past eight in the evening.
Shi Mei, already exhausted from the night before, found herself too weary even to muster the energy to key in the door code after a whole day out.
In the end, it was Ye Tiao who opened the door. Stepping inside, Ye Tiao let out a cry, "Ah, I'm dead tired!"
Shi Lingyan had just finished dinner and came to greet them upon hearing Ye Tiao's voice. However, his gaze quickly swept past Ye Tiao and landed on her.
Upon seeing Shi Lingyan, Shi Mei collapsed against him, rubbing her face on his shoulder and cooing, "I'm exhausted."
Shi Lingyan curved his lips in a slight smile, picked her up horizontally and said, "Then let's go to sleep."
