"Heh, Yang Qi, you're actually qualified to attend this banquet?"
A cold voice suddenly came from behind him. Yang Qi turned to look, his brows furrowing slightly at the sight of a young man. The man was dressed to the nines in an Armani suit and, despite being quite handsome, exuded an air of absolute arrogance.
"Damn it, it's Qin Tian!" Ye Fei exclaimed, startled.
Qin Tian was the son of a real estate mogul in Kang City. Previously, Yang Qi's company had occupied a prime piece of land. Qin Tian tried multiple times to purchase it to build housing, but Yang Qi rejected him every time. Yang Qi had built a research institute on that land; there was no way he would just hand it over.
However, after his company went bankrupt, the plot of land ended up in Qin Tian's hands. Although the institute hadn't been demolished yet, it was likely to be soon. I even suspect my company's collapse had something to do with him.
"Why shouldn't I be here?" Yang Qi asked coldly.
