The True Word Venerable kept retreating continuously, as if a ferocious beast were approaching.
"Why are you here again?"
"I told you not to come back to me."
Jiang Fan stood outside the secret chamber and said, "I'm just here to say goodbye."
"The Bodhisattva is coming to transcend me; perhaps this is our last time..."
Before he finished speaking.
The stone door immediately opened.
The True Word Venerable's face showed a trace of urgency: "Are you just going to let him transcend you?"
But then, she realized Jiang Fan didn't look anxious at all.
Instead, he said with a half-smile, "You're really worried about me being transcended."
Only then did the True Word Venerable realize that Jiang Fan had purposely provoked her into opening the door.
Embarrassed and angry, she raised her hand to close the stone door, scolding, "You troublemaker, better cut off your desires soon!"
But before the stone door closed, Jiang Fan slipped inside.
