Charlie quickly reconsidered, thinking he might be overreacting.
If Knull, the symbiote god, had truly awakened, Gwen wouldn't be wielding the Necrosword.
Plus, from the footage, there were only a few dozen Symbiote Dragons—not a massive force.
If Knull was behind this, the scale would be far grander.
Relieved, Charlie turned to Nick Fury. "So, how do you plan to help us find the black Spider-Man?"
Nick hesitated, then said, "You need to prove you can take her down if she shows up."
Old man Steve frowned slightly.
Banner, sensing the tense vibe, tried to smooth things over. "Actually, I think—"
"Dr. Banner, no need to think," Charlie cut in, smiling as he locked eyes with Nick. "How do I prove it?"
Before Nick could respond, the base's alarms blared.
"Beep beep~"
"Crap, we've been found," Nick's face darkened. "How, at a time like this—"
He stopped, glaring at Charlie's group. "You led them here!" he growled.
Charlie shrugged. "Sorry, don't know 'em."
"No time for chit-chat," Symbiote Steve grabbed his shield, turning to the monitors.
At the base of the ruined Stark Tower, a swarm of symbiotes burrowed frantically into the ground.
Above, a familiar suit hovered.
"Heh, hiding rats, this is my turf. Paid your rent yet?" the figure sneered.
Seeing the eerie black armor, the Avengers in the base gritted their teeth.
"Stark, that bastard!" Symbiote Steve cursed.
Banner's face was grim. "I knew we'd be found eventually, but not this fast by Stark."
Old man Steve's expression shifted. "Tony's a villain now?"
Natasha explained, "Tony was our ally, but after the symbiote took him, his arrogance and ego went wild.
He used his genius to craft symbiote armor—formidable stuff."
"That doesn't make him your enemy, does it?" Takuya, silent till now, spoke up.
The group fell quiet.
Symbiote Steve took a deep breath. "He's not just our enemy—he's the black Spider-Man's enemy too."
"What's that mean?" Charlie frowned.
"It means he thinks he's the hero to save the world, so he's hunting us superhumans before taking on the black Spider-Man."
Natasha's words left Charlie baffled.
Is that a normal person's logic?
"So, Tony trashed this place?" he asked.
The group exchanged glances, silent again.
Charlie slapped his forehead, getting it.
So that's how it was.
Gwen, if still sane, wouldn't destroy a city.
It was Tony, turned dark, who hunted the Avengers, wrecking the city.
This world's apocalypse stemmed from humanity's amplified desires, not Gwen.
Charlie exhaled slowly.
These guys sure know how to shift blame.
"They're breaking in!" Symbiote Barton shouted, his symbiote bow twitching.
"Nick, it's time to use that weapon," he said gravely.
Nick's eyes flashed sharply. "Yes, using Stark's own secret weapon against him—ironic."
They'd built the base here to find Tony's secret weapon.
Now, they had it. Time for the arrogant jerk to pay.
Charlie was curious—what was this secret weapon, and why were they so sure it could take down dark Tony?
He soon saw its "power."
"RUMBLE~~"
The base shook as swarms of shadows poured in, seizing the hiding symbiotes.
The symbiote army parted, revealing Tony in black armor.
"Tony, remember this?" Nick, playing "wait for the rabbit," held up a remote. The ceiling's cannon locked onto dark Tony.
Dark Tony blinked. "That's…"
"Right, your strongest weapon, codenamed Ex-Wife—a micro-missile."
"Ex-Wife?" Dark Tony looked confused.
Charlie's expression was even more colorful.
Seriously? That's the secret weapon?
This drama just got boring.
Sure enough, Nick pressed the remote, and the cannon fired.
"Whoosh~"
A firecracker-like screech echoed as the flashy missile hit dark Tony's shoulder.
Under Nick's expectant gaze, it bounced off the black armor, landing with a weak spark before fizzling out.
Nick and the others froze.
Dark Tony laughed.
"So, you hid here for my secret weapon? Sorry, I was drunk when I bragged about that. You believed me? What a headache!" he chuckled, shaking his head, his laughter growing wilder.
"Avengers, your doomsday's here."
With a wave, the symbiote swarm charged, snarling.
"Crap, escape tunnels, now!" Nick shouted.
Symbiote Steve and the others fought while retreating.
Charlie's trio didn't budge.
Facing the endless symbiotes, old man Steve stayed calm.
Takuya stepped behind Charlie, chatting with Steve.
Nick's group looked uncertain.
"Are they scared stiff?"
"Damn, if they get possessed, they'll be terrifying."
"Run!!" Natasha yelled.
A blinding crimson light nearly seared their eyes.
"Zzzzt~~"
"Pop pop pop!!!"
Crimson beams swept in a circle, slicing symbiotes in half under scorching heat.
"AHH!!"
"HISS~~"
"NO!!"
Screams filled the air as the halved symbiotes burned, flames consuming them before their healing could kick in.
Nick and the others were stunned.
They knew how hard it was to kill a symbiote.
Yet Charlie wiped out hundreds with a flick of his wrist.
Raise hand, shoot web beams, wave.
Symbiotes turned to ash in the blistering heat, the base catching fire from the beams' output.
In the chaos, dark Tony, lucky to dodge the beams, cowered in a corner, sweating, heart racing, fear mounting. "Damn, what is that?! Terrifying!!" he screamed, his armor's symbiote cells writhing, ready to abandon him.
The ceiling was sliced into a circle by the beams, a massive stone cylinder crashing down, flames surging through the gap.
"BOOM!!"
The ground quaked, the base teetering. Nick's group snapped out of it, fleeing through the tunnels.
Crimson orbs shot from the gap, triggering explosions. Stark Tower, already damaged, couldn't hold, collapsing in flames.
"Crack crack…"
"RUMBLE!!"
As it fell, debris buried the surrounding symbiotes.
Dust swirled, the commotion shocking nearby survivors.
"Stark destroyed a whole tower!!"
"My God, he's insane."
"Who can stop this guy?!"
The survivors despaired, but the noise drew the "demon" from the city's other end.
"Whoosh whoosh~"
Gale winds roared under a gloomy sky, blood-red spiral marks glowing eerily in the dark.
"HISS!!"
A monster screeched, its massive wings slicing between skyscrapers, bone spurs shattering glass walls, shards raining down.
Hidden survivors peeked at the dragon's head flashing by, trembling, too scared to move, fearing a Symbiote Dragon's bite.
Its passage whipped up hurricanes, spawning mini-tornadoes across streets.
At the tower's ruins, buried symbiotes sensed the terrifying aura, burrowing deeper, avoiding the dragon.
"HISS!!"
"BOOM!"
The first Symbiote Dragon landed, shaking the earth, collapsing ruins.
"Whoosh whoosh~~"
Its screeches and wing flaps hurled debris everywhere.
Its cold eyes, with blood-red spiral marks, scanned the ruins.
Before it could act, a crimson beam erupted from the wreckage.
"Zzzzt~"
"Pop!"
The beam flashed, and the dragon stiffened, its massive head rolling, smashing a pit into the ruins.
Nick's group, barely escaped, gaped in shock.
"A Symbiote Dragon, just… killed?"
Symbiote Steve's face was horrified. "We used a nuke to take one out, but now…"
"It's not dead!" Natasha cut in.
The severed head screeched, blood-red liquid writhing at the stump, its spiral-marked eyes glowing eerily.
"Crack crack crack~~"
The liquid reconnected the head, grotesque tendrils sprouting, pulling it back.
Charlie didn't give it a chance.
"BAM!!"
A red-blue figure shot from the ruins. Charlie clapped his palms, high-heat web balls firing like a machine gun, encircling the dragon from all angles.
"ROAR!!"
"RUMBLE!!"
The dragon's agonized screams echoed as searing heat engulfed the ruins, its massive body melting into blood-red sludge, blending with molten rubble into a bizarre lava lake.
"Gurgle gurgle~"
The ruins became a red, bubbling lake, painting the sky like a fiery hell.
The gloomy sky now burned with crimson flames, adding a vivid, cruel hue to the apocalyptic scene.
The dragon's death didn't faze its pursuing kin.
They swooped over skyscrapers, hurricanes shattering glass.
"Crap, more!" Nick's group broke from the shock, scrambling for cover.
Despite fear, curiosity made them peek, wondering how Charlie would handle these monsters.
Survivors noticed his spider-suit.
"No way, that suit… Spider-Man?"
"That one's black; this one's red."
"No, blue."
"What's happening? Two Spider-Men?"
"He killed a Symbiote Dragon—they're enemies…"
Survivors buzzed. Takuya glanced at his wrist device, debating helping.
Beside him, old man Steve raised his hand, summoning this world's Mjolnir.
No clue if it'd work, but he wanted to try.
Facing a dozen charging Symbiote Dragons, Charlie formed hand signs, clones bursting forth.
"Whoa, huge monsters!"
"So thrilling!"
"My turn first—wait, no, good neighbor? Nah, monsters need Ultraman!"
A clone slapped his wrist device, Pym Particles flaring. A massive red-blue giant shimmered with starlight.
"BOOM!!"
The giant landed, other clones gasping.
"What's that? Why's he glowing?"
"Damn, it's magic-simulated light form."
"All flash, no substance. My turn."
"You stole the spotlight again!"
"Last time, I took it."
"We all look the same; I can't tell!"
Under disbelieving stares, more red-blue giants appeared, like saviors in the apocalypse, majestic and mysterious.
"BOOM!!"
"HISS!!!"
The giant-versus-monster battle erupted.
"I'm throwing dirt in your eyes!" a clone tackled a dragon, pinning its head, grinding it twice, then hurling it skyward.
"Brothers, help me flex!!"
"Spacium Beam!!" the clone shouted, arms in an L-shape, targeting the airborne dragon.
Other clones fired web beams behind him, mimicking a cosmic "ray" hitting the monster.
"Zzzzt~"
"BOOM!!"
An explosion lit the sky, the dragon blasted to bits.
"It explodes?" a clone stared at his wrist. "What happened?"
"I did it," another laughed, hands on hips. "My web ball caused the boom—needed that explosion effect."
The others gave thumbs-ups.
Before continuing, the clones dissolved into red-blue light particles.
Nine clones, nine seconds.
Charlie, fuming, cursed at the sight. "Jerks, you flex and leave me to suffer? No justice!!"
The surviving dragons dove at him.
"ROAR!!"
"HISS~~"
Their roars shook the sky, the earth quaking, the gloomy sky darkening.
The bubbling lava lake cast a blood-red glow, turning the battlefield hellish.
In the sky, the lone figure faced the ferocious symbiotes, raising his hands.
"Buzz!!"
Web proteins surged into his palms, a crimson orb rapidly expanding.
Like a rising sun, it brought hope to the apocalypse.
In seconds, the orb above Charlie grew to a hundred meters wide.
Old man Steve, summoning Mjolnir, saw it and lit up. "That's… oh my God, a Spirit Bomb!"
"Spirit Bomb?" Takuya scratched his head. "I thought that wasn't—"
Steve slapped his shoulder, cutting him off. "Doesn't matter. Crap, I forgot my phone!!"
He wailed, upset he couldn't capture this for a Spider-Man poster.
The crimson "sun" moved.
"Buzz~~"
As it plummeted, a terrifying heat pillar erupted, scattering the gloom.
"BOOM!!"
The dragons under its light screamed, turning to ash. The energy pillar soared, clearing the haze.
Sunlight bathed the ruined city, a dawn before destruction, a hope for rebirth.
Survivors gaped, awestruck.
They saw a god!
A world-saving god!
But they didn't know gods were human, elevated by impossible feats.
Then, the real god arrived.
"BOOM!!"
"RUMBLE!!"
The clear sky darkened with clouds, lightning flashing. A thunderbolt shot from a vortex, aiming at old man Steve!
"Nani?" Steve mimicked Takuya. "Mjolnir sensed my call?"
He caught the falling hammer, Thor's power surging through him, strength returning.
But he sensed something off, tossing Mjolnir down. "Something's wrong…"
"Symbiote!" he shouted.
Purple liquid oozed from the hammer, coating it, faint thunder spreading.
"Zzzzt~"
"BOOM!!"
Mjolnir shot skyward, a cosmic rainbow beam piercing Earth's atmosphere, enveloping it.
"RUMBLE!!"
The beam hit the ruins, and a majestic figure in ornate armor landed, crouching, golden hair flowing, exuding destruction. Old man Steve's heart skipped.
"Thor… no, Symbiote Thor!!"
Purple liquid encased Thor, a demonic face covering his head.
"Heh heh heh~"
Symbiote Thor gripped Mjolnir, baring eerie fangs, his tongue lashing, eyes crackling with thunder.
"You old fool summoned my Mjolnir?" he sneered, striding forward. "Puny human daring to touch a god's weapon? Unforgivable!!"
With a roar, he leaped, muscles gleaming with divine light.
"Oh, shit!" Steve cursed, raising his shield.
"BOOM!!"
Mjolnir clashed with the shield, winds hurling debris, lightning arcing. The shockwave sent Takuya flying, buildings teetering.
"BAM!!"
Steve crashed into the ruins, making Charlie frown.
"Vibranium shield couldn't absorb that? Old man's nerfed again."
Without his "50-50" skill, Steve was outmatched. Charlie dove, nano-vibranium glowing faintly.
"Buzz~"
His speed surged, a meteor streaking down.
"BOOM!!!"
He slammed into Symbiote Thor, both plunging underground, Thor's furious roar echoing.
"Foolish mortal, you can't kill me!!"
"RUMBLE!!"
An explosion sent Thor skyward, wrapped in flames.
Before he could react, magic sparks flared, and Charlie, hands clasped, hammered down, shattering the void.
"BOOM!!!"
Thor crashed back underground, collapsing nearby buildings.
"RUMBLE"
Debris buried him. Old man Steve, clutching his waist, hobbled to a corner.
He glanced at his dented shield, sighing. "Old buddy thinking of retiring again?"
The shield, once shattered by Thanos, faced another bad day.
Steve stroked the dent, pained, then slung it on his back, eyes glinting with anger. "Anyone who hurts my buddy pays—even gods!"
He roared, his uniform shredding as muscles bulged.
"Rip~"
Fabric flew, his eyes glowing blue, thunder erupting, rivaling Thor's.
"What?" Symbiote Thor, crawling from the ruins, paled. "Impossible! A mortal with Thor's power—"
"BOOM!!"
Lightning flashed, cutting him off, blasting him back into the ruins.
Mjolnir fell, and Steve summoned it to his hand.
Despite its purple liquid, Steve's lightning suppressed the symbiote.
With Mjolnir, his power soared.
Without it, Thor…
"BOOM!!"
Rubble exploded as Steve dragged Thor across the ground.
"No hammer, what are you?" he taunted, spitting in Thor's face.
Furious but outmatched, Thor admitted Steve's superior hammer control and thunder mastery.
Charlie, arms crossed, shook his head. "How long can this old meme last?"
Calm on the surface, he grew wary.
Earth wasn't the only place invaded.
Thor as a symbiote host meant Asgard might've fallen.
If Asgard wasn't spared, the Nine Realms…
It felt like a Resurrection Match rerun.
From small-time gigs to saving the world every mission.
Too big a step, and he'd pull a muscle.
To save Gwen and get the Necrosword, it might not just be Earth.
Saving the Nine Realms?
What a joke.
Charlie's face darkened. Even Odin couldn't do that—how could he?
He lacked the power.
He hoped Thor was the only Asgardian possessed, or this was getting way out of hand.
Seeing Thor, beaten and hopeless under Steve's thrashing, Charlie stepped in to stop the old man's sadistic streak.
Heart heavy, he loomed over the battered Thor. "Tell me, what's Asgard's situation?"
Thor glared silently.
Steve rolled up nonexistent sleeves. "Oh, glaring at Little Spider? Know who he is?"
He slapped Thor, who teared up, aggrieved. "Who is he?"
Odin never hit him like that.
Steve, hands on hips, declared, "He's Spider-Man! His power senses—"
"I DON'T!!" Charlie gritted his teeth, exasperated.
How long will this meme keep going?!
