Hassan aimed his weapon, waiting for the moment when a vampire would appear. Everyone was aiming so that they could hit both heads and hearts.
None of the weapons were too low or too high. They didn't have the right to waste a single bullet. They had to eliminate as many vampires as possible in order to have a chance.
"Maybe I should have asked how many vampires were approaching before refusing," Hassan thought before refocusing.
Paneas did so, his eyes widening in fear, his pulse racing, but his grip tightening.
In the distance, hundreds of red dots could be seen approaching at extreme speed. All they could see were dozens of vampires approaching. There were only a few of them.
"There's no way," thought one of the soldiers.
The red eyes formed a red line in the distance; it was a terrifying sight. They seemed to be moving slowly, but in reality, they were approaching at high speed.
When the vampires appeared near them with their crazed, bloodthirsty smiles, Hassan shouted.
