Chapter 3 - A Second One?

I loved women. That much is a given though, cause' that was one of the only escapes I had from my family. They wouldn't track me when I go out cause' they already know about my reputation.

I eventually learned how to seduce women, so I can get a discount or a couch out of them, sometimes even for free. Did it cause' I only go back home once in a while.

Had to learn the way of the streets you know?

So I had a bit of tricks up my sleeve to have my way with women. I would often crash at their place for a while and just leave. Of course without 'doing the thing'. I'm still a minor after all.

But I am certainly attracted to them.

So if I ever smell the scent of a woman, my natural "gentleman" instincts kick out and about.

"Arius! There you are!"

I glance my eyes over the annoying priest and see a young girl. Approximately fifteen or sixteen years of age, guess we're about the same. Though her height seems to be smaller.

I quickly took notice of her bizarre hair color.

"Purple?"

The priest who I assume is named Arius stiffened after he heard my remark.

Hmm? I wonder why he froze up. Must be cause' he got found. He dashed to my side and hastily pulled me away and put my head near his. "Oi listen here kid, don't ever mention her hair color. got it?" He whispered in my ear, but it felt like more like a silent scream though.

"Hah, why? Is there some kind of reason for it?" I query him but he responds with a brief silence. He looks a round for a bit then he ducks down to me and kneels near my ears. "It's private information got it? Just whatever you do, don't mention it."

Why does he seem so scared though?

Oh, maybe I can use this against him. "And why should I? Is there any reason for me to listen to you?" I respond with a snarky attitude. Arius, who didn't seem to like that said in retaliation, "I'll sell you out to the gua-gugh!"

"Gotcha! Why were you in here though Arius? Don't tell me ya got lost~"

His voice suddenly got cut off by the girl, which picked him up like a lost dog. I took a little step back.

It's quite funny seeing a taller dude get picked up by such a small girl though.

I let out a small chuckle.

The girl swayed her head while carrying the priest on her side, treating him like a sandbag. She started nonchalantly to walk in my direction.

As I thought she would get more closer to me, she suddenly stopped at about three feet away, then in what I can describe as the most loudest praise of gratitude ever, she screamed. " I'm terribly sorry for having you take care of our brother!"

Ah, her voice made my ear bleed quite literally. ' Nah I'm chill with him, right? Uhhh, Arius was it?" I responded, with a scummy aura and grin at him with certainty that I can take advantage of him. It felt so euphoric.

Having noticed my eerie smile, Arius seemed to get some goosebumps. Serves him right for scaring me earlier.

But it seems the attire still goes strong too. Though it seems a bit of modifications got it's way in the outfit. I couldn't notice it earlier because I was distracted by her hair but this girl was wearing a shoulder cloak with white for its main color, which was decorated with red accents and patterns that make it look a little tribal.

Perhaps she came from a country in the west? Anyways, she was wearing gray shorts with knee high stockings in a pristine marble color, accompanied by the same crimson linings as her top. But the stockings made her thighs spill out from the gap of the shorts, resulting in a slightly erotic look.

Her boots though came in a black color that contrasted her outfit, which was riddled with belts. It seems they call this fashion style 'emo' in the east.

Heh I'm quite knowledgeable, aren't I?

Anyway, her face felt plump as that mochi treat my bar mates gifted me once. Though I don't really know how her face felt. Her plump face and milky white skin coupled with her maya blue eyes and long eyelashes make her feel youthful and energetic.

Oops, I shouldn't be randomly analyzing someone else's design like this. The author might get mad at me. But it seems I have been staring at her for quite some time now. Having felt the awkward situation, I broke the silence.

"Um, sorry for the late introduction, my name is Lathell." I decided that leaving my last name out would be for the best. It would be bad if they found out I was a former noble.

"Sure! My name Iris Bellmoor! Call me Ris for short! Also this pathetic guy over here is Arius Klamine! Funny name right?!" She cheerfully insulted him, well by the looks of it he's already used to this. Maybe not, cause' what is that look on his face?

Is he sulking? GAHAHHAHA! I laughed like a possessed person would. Just in my head of course, but he seemed to notice.

Does this guy have a sixth sense or something?

By the way I couldn't really make out what he said before though cause' of Iris. Well, probably not important.

"Anyway we should really be going now! It's almost time for the meeting! Thanks again for taking care of this troublemaker for me!"

"Ah wait, before you go can you tell me where the nearest tavern or inn is?" I hurriedly asked her a question.

"Hmm, you should go follow that sign over there that says Black Cat and after you hit a crossway you should go right and see an inn." Arius, who was unusually quiet suddenly spoke.

"Ah you scared me, crap!"

Whack!

D- dang did he die?

He got his head bashed in as he spoke, in which I could physically hear his skull crack with that amount of force Iris punched him in. It didn't sound that great.

"Umm, Hahahaha we should ignore that for some time being Well bye for now Lathell! Maybe we can see each other again sometime!" They quickly scurry off into the opposite direction of where the inn was. I silently wave them goodbye, confirming the small encounter we made today.

The two really did have a lasting impression on me. Not a good one though. Well at least they seemed fun.

With their advice I slowly start walking to the sign, leisurely forgetting about the dangers I was in. But I could eerily sense it. Bloodlust.

And I was right. I could hear some steps coming from the sign's direction.

Step, step, step. "Well look what we have here, ain't it been a while?" I could immediately recognize that voice. It was from that skinny guy that attacked me!

It seems like they were waiting for me to finish my conversation with the two of them. Crap, just how did they follow me here!

What should I do? Damn it!
