The Promise of More Talents
Seeing Ye Chuchu so happy, Yuto Saito smiled and said, "Chu Chu, you're so happy with two talents. Imagine how happy you'll be with three in the future?"
Ye Chuchu was surprised. "Captain, you're going to pass on talents to us?"
Yuto Saito smiled. "That's the plan. When I have more Copy Cards in the future, each of you will have three talents."
"Awesome!" Ruoruo said excitedly.
Natto said happily, "When all of us have three talents, who will be able to beat our team? Hahaha."
Yun Yun and Ni Shuang exchanged smiles. They already knew about this plan, as Yuto Saito had passed on the Flight talent to them during dinner. Yun Yun now had three talents: Lightning, Freezing, and Flight. Ni Shuang had two: Super Strength and Flight. They were looking forward to the second batch of Awakening Pills, which would give Yun Yun a fourth talent and Ni Shuang a third.
Ni Shuang was especially excited, wondering what talent she would awaken next.
Yuto Saito addressed the other girls. "I gave the Flight talent to Yun Yun and Ni Shuang during dinner. Having the ability to fly will make you all much more flexible. When I get more Copy Cards, I'll give all of you a third talent. But for now, let's talk about tomorrow's plans."
Yun Yun said softly, "Tomorrow, after Little Tu finishes the trade with Officer Song Yi, we can upgrade the Floating Island to Level 7. It will become very large, so I suggest we start assigning administrators to different areas and implementing a contribution system."
Ni Shuang nodded in agreement. "My sister is right. For example, Mifen's parents can manage the greenhouses, and my parents can help manage the school. Everyone's relatives can help manage the hotel, commercial street, warehouses, and other places."
Yuto Saito said, "Let's talk about what your parents do. Yun Yun, you can go first, in order of team number."
Yun Yun: "My father is a firefighter, and my mother is a music teacher."
Ni Shuang: "Both of my parents are teachers."
Natto: "My dad ran a supermarket, and my mom was a tailor."
Mina: "My family ran a restaurant on Wall Street, so they could manage the restaurant."
Juzi: "My parents were ordinary factory workers, so they can help manage the factory."
Ruoruo: "My father was a driver, and my mother was a bus conductor. But they're both Awakened, so I think it's better for them to help gather spar."
Nako: "My father was a warehouse manager, and my mother owned a clothing store."
Yuqi: "My parents were business owners, so they can help manage the commercial street."
Hu Tuan'er: "My father ran a company, and my mother was the HR manager."
Mifen: "You already know what my parents do; they'll be in charge of the greenhouses."
Chen Xinyu: "I'm sorry, my parents are gone." The girls knew this and comforted her. Chen Xinyu said calmly, "It's okay. Everyone, please continue."
Ye Chuchu: "Both of my parents are doctors."
After each of the girls shared, Yuto Saito made a reasonable arrangement for the elders to manage a specific area.
"Yun Yun's father will be in charge of the Floating Island's safety, and her mother can teach at the school. Ni Shuang's parents are teachers, so they'll also teach. Natto's father will manage the supermarket, and her mother can open a tailor shop. Mina's parents will run the restaurant. Juzi's parents will manage the factory. Ruoruo's parents are Awakened, so they'll be responsible for scouting for news and gathering spar. Nako's parents will manage the warehouse. Yuqi's parents will be in charge of the commercial street. Hu Tuan'er's parents will handle personnel management and gather statistics on the residents. Mifen's parents will manage the greenhouses, and Ye Chuchu's parents will be in charge of the hospital."
All the women agreed with this plan.
Yun Yun said, "Little Tu, we brought in 48 new residents today."
Yuto Saito: "Okay. Ruoruo, create a group chat for the new residents and tell them they need to help with farming tomorrow."
"Understood," Ruoruo replied. She created a new group, added Yun Yun and the other administrators, and then had them add the rest of the new residents.
Later, Ruoruo posted an announcement in the group: "Hello everyone, I am number 7 of the God of War team. You are the third group of residents to be brought to the Floating Island. At 8 AM tomorrow, we need everyone to gather at the Floating Community's gate to help with farming. When the commercial street and hotel open to the public, you will be reassigned based on your abilities."
A New Currency and a New Responsibility
In room 2401 of the Floating Community, Tuantuan and Jingjing were chatting.
Tuantuan said, "Jingjing, there's an announcement. We have to go farming tomorrow."
Jingjing replied, "Farming is good. Maybe in the future, we can open a milk tea shop together."
"Wow, if we could open a milk tea shop, we could drink milk tea every day!" Tuantuan said excitedly.
Jingjing smiled. "This Floating Island is a miracle. It can float in the air and has so many buildings. It's so magical."
Tuantuan: "I know. The living environment is great. I'm so glad your aunt was able to pick us up. We owe her a lot."
Jingjing: "I'm just glad you had a good relationship with her, so we can finally sleep soundly at night."
Back at the villa, Yuto Saito and the girls were discussing the new contribution system.
Yuto Saito said, "Let's talk about contributions."
Yun Yun: "The contribution amounts for each position will be different. Senior management will make more, and those who work more will get more."
Yuto Saito: "We'll have a model where one contribution point is equal to one yuan of RMB. But since RMB is useless here, only contributions and spar will be our currency."
Ni Shuang: "I understand. Contribution points are our Floating Island currency."
