Chapter 889 - Ch.889 Chaos in the Private Room

The prospects were promising, but the process was far from easy.

First, both 'Tsukuyomi' and 'Jikibi' were Mangekyo-level dojutsu. Fusing such high-level techniques seamlessly was no small feat!

Moreover, the core of the plan had to be Mumei's 'Yachihoko.'

To create the large-scale immersive genjutsu combat training space Shinji envisioned, it wasn't just a matter of merging two Mangekyo dojutsu—it was three!

And these three dojutsu belonged to both him and Mumei.

Thus, this involved not only the fusion of Mangekyo dojutsu but also the coordination of their chakra and even dojutsu power.

Thinking it through, the difficulty was akin to developing a new Bloodline Limit.

In the past, Shinji wouldn't have dared entertain such a bold idea—not for lack of imagination, but because he knew it was beyond his reach.

But things were different now!

Mumei's 'Yachihoko' could not only transfer chakra but also memories, dojutsu power, and even dojutsu techniques.

With 'Yachihoko,' nothing was truly impossible!

Clang!

At that moment, a loud crash of breaking plates echoed through the private room.

Everyone turned to see Rock Lee, who had somehow stood up and was swaying unsteadily at his spot.

The broken plate was one he'd accidentally knocked over.

Tenten frowned. "Lee, what are you doing?"

"You haven't finished eating—sit back down!"

Kiba, sitting nearby, reached out to pull Lee back to his seat.

Suddenly, Lee dodged Kiba's hand with an oddly fluid motion, then spun around and, boom, sent Kiba flying out of the room with a single kick.

Everyone froze in shock.

Tenten, stunned, shouted, "Lee, have you lost your mind?!"

Hinata quickly stood to help Kiba, who had been kicked out of the room. Shikamaru, Choji, and Shino rose to steady the wobbling Lee.

But before they could close in, Lee launched an attack, and the room erupted into chaos with ping-ping-pang-pang sounds.

Shinji, sitting across the room, put a hand to his forehead. "Oh no…"

He'd forgotten that Lee couldn't handle alcohol. Once he drank, his terrible drunken behavior made him unrecognizable to even his closest allies.

The worst part? In his drunken state, Lee instinctively mastered Drunken Fist.

In the original timeline, even Lee's sensei, Might Guy, struggled to subdue him when drunk.

Thud, thud, thud.

Sure enough, with a few muffled thumps, Shikamaru, Choji, and Shino, like Kiba before them, were easily knocked down by Lee, sporting bruises and swollen faces.

The room descended further into chaos.

Ino exclaimed, "What's going on? Has he gone mad?"

Karin, observing, guessed, "He… he just seems drunk!"

Ino was speechless. "Drunk? We only had one small cup each!"

Kiba, now back in the room with a bruised face, shouted, "I wasn't ready—that didn't count! Let's go again!"

Before he could finish, Lee darted forward in a flash.

Thud.

With another muffled sound, Kiba was sent flying again, tumbling down the stairs without resistance.

"What a hassle!" Shikamaru grumbled, quickly forming hand signs to activate his 'Shadow Imitation Jutsu.'

But despite Lee's dizzy appearance, barely able to stand, his reactions were razor-sharp. Before Shikamaru's shadow could reach his, Lee flipped into the air, braced one hand on the table, and sent Shikamaru flying out the window onto the street with a double-legged kick.

Ino gasped, shouting, "What are you all standing around for? Let's take him down together!"

Worried Lee would hurt more people, everyone in the room sprang into action.

Choji charged head-on, Hinata and Shino attacked from another angle, Tenten seized the moment to bind Lee with ninja tools, and Ino and Shion prepared to join in.

Karin, Haku, and Mumei glanced at Shinji, their eyes asking if they should help.

Shinji shook his head with a smile.

Thud, thud, thud.

In just a few breaths, the group that had rushed forward was effortlessly knocked down by the drunken Lee.

Neji, who hadn't planned to intervene, stood up seeing the situation.

But before Neji could act, Lee, sensing something, struck first, overpowering even him.

Kimimaro, usually stoic, showed rare astonishment on his face.

It wasn't just him—Haku and Karin, who knew Neji's strength, were shocked too.

Shinji, however, remained calm, watching the spectacle from the side.

He hadn't let Haku, Karin, or Mumei intervene for a reason.

In the cramped confines of the room, where they couldn't go all out without seriously hurting Lee, subduing his drunken state was no easy task.

Despite Neji's 'biological exoskeleton' and the 'Tenseigan' nurtured at his forehead, unless he got serious, he might not be able to handle a drunken Lee.

Bang.

Another loud crash rang out as Neji, caught off guard, took a kick from Lee and was knocked back into the room's wall.

At that moment, footsteps echoed from the hallway outside.

Sasuke and Sakura, heading upstairs, had noticed Shikamaru being thrown from the second floor. After learning the situation, they hurried up.

Surveying the chaotic room and the scattered peers, Sasuke's gaze landed on the swaying Lee.

"What's going on?"

As Sakura spoke, she moved to heal the others.

Sasuke glanced at Shinji, then stopped Sakura from stepping forward. "Let me subdue this guy first."

Sakura nodded. "Be careful, Sasuke. Something's off with Lee!"

"Hmph, so what?"

With a scoff, Sasuke lunged at Lee.

As his left arm swept out, he lowered his center of gravity, planning to pin Lee down with his body's strength the moment he struck.

But though his plan was solid, his confident sweep missed.

The seemingly dazed Lee dodged Sasuke's arm with an eerily precise movement, then lowered his body, sprang up, and delivered a fierce knee strike to Sasuke's abdomen, sending him crashing through the flimsy partition wall into the next room.

Thud.

The room fell silent. The fallen peers, along with Shinji, Haku, Karin, and Mumei, who were watching, all froze.

Only Lee continued to sway, teetering but not falling.
