Rushing away from the predators that had killed two of his friends, a miner ran as fast as he could towards the path to the elevator.
Beside him was a young man who has just joined there party a day before. "Where almost there! We just-" !!!!
Just as they had reached the entrance to the path one of the creatures had came out of nowhere and using its tail it snapped
The stone arch that was next to the path,
And blocked the way out.
"Damn!... What do we do?"
They both backed up as the blue eyed monster with brown fur and a jaw that could bite off there heads with razor sharp teeth long enough to be long swords stepped towards them, it growled, it's drool dripped to the ground.
"... Kid... We're done for-"
He sed with a grave look on his face.
"N-no! It can't be! We-"
The older miner got on his knees.
"... I'm sorry. All we can do is pray that God will take our souls into his glory."
The young man gulped.
He wasn't ready to die...
"You... You can except your fate... But... I won't... But I won't leave you behind!"
The young miner pulled the old man to his feet and dragged him. "Come on!"
He refused.
Maybe it was because his wife had died moments earlier and he had lost his will to live. But the young man refused to let him

"Get the hell up!" He smacked the older man. The old man let out a slight yelp. But then looked at the younger man, and got to his feet, but as they got up they saw the
Rest of the fury beasts come to them, and behind them all was there alpha. It gave a slight growl as if to issue an order, then. They all came at them.
The two miners ran and dudged there attacks and fled the other direction. The only way to survive for how was to go deeper into the mines, but first they'd have to outrun and hide from these monsters, and pray that some hunters would find them.

We stood at the edge of the entrance of the mines.
"So... Um... " I looked at ryuji.
"How does this all work? Like I know we gotta go in and clear the mines for the minors but-"
Ryuji spoke up.
"Well simple, we go in and like you sed we clear the mines, there are several floors to them, depending on how far they've digged down, most of the mines are already clear in undertown, but they've recently digged down further and found a new cavern, they've already cleared out half of it, most of the creatures there were vox's and slimes... "
"Slimes? Like the ones in JRPG'S?"
"Yeah... Except there pretty dangerous, like if you touch it your donefore."
"Really?"
"Ever seen the movie the blob?"
"That movie in the 50s about a red ball of slime that eats people and gets bigger and pretty much they have to freeze it before it eats the world?"
"It's kinda like that except it can't get much bigger then a bear, but you can kill it with fire and poison arrows ... But whatever you DO NOT let it touch you, it'll pull you in and you'll be gone."
"I see... And what are vox's?"
"There basically fox's that have fire power's, there actually a lot more useful to us alive then died though because there slimes natural predators... Also... There is a good chance that there is another type of monster here... But that's vary slim."
"What's that?"
Shoko spoke up.
"Wolven... "
Jack remembered what Billy had said about them. "I heard about those, there giant wolves pretty much yeah?"
Lisa have a nod.
"Yeah, kinda... But there extremely dangerous, there more intelligent then any other monster found in mines, there almost as intelligent as goblins, and they have human level intelligence, they can think and plan and strategize, they also have freakish strength, even for a monster there size, I've heard they've been able to take down Mecka's by themselves, there extremely resilient, they can take multiple shots to their weakest points in their body... There not something to be trifled with."
For a second, I wanted to scream "you guys have Mecka's?!"
But I was more worried about the wolven.
"Do you think there here?"
Ryuji shrugged.
"They tend to lerk in the deeper parts of the caverns, but don't worry, we should be fine so long as we don't go too far into the mines, this is your first trip in, we'll make it easier on you." He gave him a grin and payed his back.
"Oh um, ok... Let's do it."
And so they all walked into the entrance.
