In the crowd, an old man stepped out and stopped a few people from quarreling.
"Lu Bo, you'd better explain things clearly to me! What's going on with Su Ya? Did you see her killed by Savardo with your own eyes?"
The old man stared sharply at the other, his demeanor imposing, suggesting he once held a position of some status.
The man named Lu Bo seemed to instinctively fear him; with the rebuke, he subconsciously wilted a bit.
But he quickly reacted, realizing it's now the apocalypse, and there's no reason for a grown man like him to fear him.
"Yuno! Stop throwing your weight around here! You're just a retired sheriff! It's the apocalypse now, you can't boss me around!"
Lu Bo jumped up like a cat whose tail had been stepped on and loudly shouted at the old man:
"And I've already said! There were five Savardos chasing us! Su Ya alone stopped them! Whether she can survive, it's not up to me! Or you!"
