Away from Opulence Oaks, Kai exited the elevator as he made his way to the conference room. The reporters and other important figures who were to be present at the conference were beginning to gather, but the president was still nowhere in sight.
Kai would have blamed Alex and probably called him a dozen times already had he not known that he had aom family issues to take care of. Sara's fainting the previous day had them all worried, and he was no different.
"Mr Wilson," one of the board members of Apex Groups called to Kai, who stopped and as the man approached him.
"It is quite an honor to meet you," he reached out to shake Kai's hand, Kai stared at the hand for a second before reaching out to shake it.
"The pleasure is mine, Mr Reynolds," Kai said, happy thay he had taken the time and effort to memorize the names of the important figures of Apex. Although he doubted that Alex would do that but he wouldn't be surprised if he already knew them all either.
