Full title: *Kurama – Oh no, my secret as a transmigrator is about to be exposed! Wait, I'm not a transmigrator... never mind then.*
——Story begins——
With both sets of parents watching, the bride and groom stepped into the hall, made their vows, and kissed each other.
With all their friends as witnesses, the two came together, held each other tight, and swore never to part.
A beautiful love story. So touching and emotional…
"Will you shut up already?" Naruto stood in the training field, looking annoyed as he snapped at Kurama. "You've been at it all night. Aren't you done yet?"
Last night, Hinata and Kushina talked for hours and only went to sleep in the middle of the night.
Oh, right—they stayed over at the Hyuga clan. Kushina had been so excited she pulled Hinata to sleep with her. Nobody knew what they talked about, but in the end… Naruto got abandoned by his own mom.
Poor Naruto had to face the entire Hyuga clan and all their white eyes—alone. It was a total mess.
It was already the next day. Kushina had taken Hinata out to play, leaving Naruto behind. So he decided to use the time to train and get better control over the power of the Six Paths.
Sasuke was there too.
Why weren't they helping out? Because those two would just make a mess, not actually help.
Kurama shrugged. "You should take your time and enjoy good memories. This one will be your embarrassing story in the future."
After clashing once more, Naruto and Sasuke both jumped back.
Sasuke twirled his sword and looked at him with his Sharingan, a bit curious. "What's up? You seem off today."
Naruto sighed and stood up with the help of Samehada. "Kurama keeps whispering random stuff in my ear. I can't focus."
"You should learn to ignore him." Sasuke chuckled lightly.
Naruto rolled his eyes. "I already know how to ignore him. But lately, I don't know what's gotten into him — he just won't shut up."
Kurama usually talked a lot, but these days, he was even worse.
"I'm happy. So what?" Kurama said proudly.
"Ugh\~" Naruto let out a long sigh. "There's no way I can concentrate with you like this. Let's call it a day."
"Fine." Sasuke didn't insist. He was just trying to get used to his new powers anyway. Still, they couldn't spar using their Karma marks — they might blow the entire village sky-high.
Oh, right — the village wasn't even there anymore.
The two of them sat down on a large rock and started chatting casually.
But just then, they both sensed two massive chakra auras appear.
They looked at each other and stood up right away.
The next moment, Hashirama and Madara landed in the training ground.
Before either Naruto or Sasuke could speak, Hashirama smiled boldly. "Found you two at last. It's really hard to sense your chakra. It's so strong it's ridiculous, and yet I couldn't detect it at all. That's some impressive hiding skill."
As he spoke, he walked up to them.
"First Hokage, sir," they both greeted him respectfully.
"No need for that." Hashirama waved it off with a laugh. "Naruto, you should be calling me great-grandfather. And Sasuke, if you don't mind, you can call me that too."
Technically, that wasn't wrong. But just as Naruto was about to speak, Kurama suddenly let out a sneaky laugh: "Even Hashirama's on the NaruSasu ship. Good. I'm joining in too."
Naruto: "..."
The words got stuck in his throat. He just couldn't say them anymore.
Sasuke didn't hear Kurama and nodded calmly. "As long as you don't mind — great-grandfather."
"Aw, good boy." Hashirama beamed, laughing loudly. "Hahaha..."
While laughing, he turned to Naruto with an oddly excited look in his eyes.
Naruto forced a smile and said through gritted teeth, "G-great-grandfather."
Damn it! Kurama, this is all your fault! Now everything feels weird!
"Alright!" Hashirama laughed loudly like nothing was wrong and happily messed up both their hair.
"Hehehe\~" Kurama looked very pleased.
"Hmph!" Madara snorted coldly and looked past Naruto straight at Sasuke. "Sasuke, call me great-great-grandfather."
Hashirama's smile froze.
Sasuke looked annoyed. "If I'm not wrong, aren't you supposed to be an enemy of the Leaf? Why are you even here?"
"I'll stay wherever I want." Madara said coldly. "Anyway, just call me great-great-grandfather first."
"Madara…" Hashirama let out a long sigh, clearly frustrated. "If Sasuke calls you great-great-grandfather and calls me great-grandfather, then doesn't that make your generation higher than mine? Should I be calling you uncle too?"
"I wouldn't mind." Actually, Madara would love that.
Hashirama was instantly speechless.
Watching the two old men bicker like kids, Sasuke couldn't help but roll his eyes.
Naruto just stood there blankly watching them, and after a while, he suddenly snapped back to reality, pointing at Madara with a shocked face. "You're that guy who tricked Nagato and tried to start the Infinite Tsukuyomi!"
Sasuke slapped his forehead. "Idiot, that was Obito."
"No, I mean Madara!" Naruto looked anxious
and explained, "I know Obito was the masked guy, but isn't this Madara the one who saved Obito and planned the Infinite Tsukuyomi from the start?"
The moment he said that, all three men and one fox froze. Even Kurama instinctively paused for a second.
Sasuke frowned and looked at Naruto. "Wait, what do you mean by that?"
They only knew Obito was trying to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi. As for Madara wanting to do it… hold on, was that ever a thing?
Naruto froze too. He scratched the back of his head and spoke uncertainly: "Madara… read the stone tablet left by the Sage of Six Paths and thought the Infinite Tsukuyomi could create a new world. So he came up with the plan, used Obito to carry it out, and arranged to be brought back to life later to finish it himself and bring peace…"
As he said this, Naruto suddenly looked confused. "Why do I remember seeing Madara being revived? And… it was on a battlefield?"
It was too strange. Naruto was sure he'd never seen that scene before. He hadn't even imagined it.
Sasuke stroked his chin and stared at Naruto like he was putting something together. Hashirama scratched the back of his head, clearly confused. Madara looked at Naruto with interest, eyes flickering like he was thinking deeply.
As for Kurama, he suddenly cut off the chakra link between himself and Naruto. His face turned serious as he looked at Naruto. "Can you still see it now?"
Naruto froze. Once Kurama cut off the chakra, the image in his mind disappeared completely.
He shook his head and looked at Kurama with a questioning expression.
"Tch." Kurama clicked his tongue, sounding a little annoyed. "Chakra was something the old Sage made to connect people's hearts. Looks like the more we trust each other, the more our memories start to mix too."
Honestly, it made sense.
Chakra is a strange thing. For Naruto and Kurama—who have a strong bond and constant chakra connection—it wasn't that weird to start seeing bits of each other's memories.
In fact, it was probably happening for a while now. Naruto was just too simple-minded to ever notice.
No wonder this guy sometimes spouted stuff Kurama never said out loud. Turns out he'd been seeing Kurama's memories without knowing.
Naruto looked dumbfounded. "I get the idea, but… why are your memories showing Madara being revived? And also that thing… the Fourth Great Ninja War?"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Subway, cellphone, Naruto.
