Sasuke didn't give Naruto any more time to argue. He flipped a black rod in his hand and charged straight at him.
With the Fire Sealing Method in place, Sasuke's Fire Release techniques were practically useless. Even Amaterasu wouldn't work unless it reached a certain level. The first thing he had to do was get rid of that seal.
The black rod in his hand was a Truth-Seeking Rod—a weapon infused with Yin-Yang Release. It could disrupt chakra balance, meaning it could forcefully break through most jutsu. If used on a ninja, it would instantly strip them of their ability to resist.
This wasn't a particularly difficult technique. As long as someone had awakened the Rinnegan, they could use it. It was the first jutsu Sasuke learned after gaining the Rinnegan.
Naruto knew this thing was trouble. He flipped out a kunai and rushed forward to meet Sasuke head-on.
Once again, their battle turned into a clash of taijutsu—but this time, they were using weapons too.
When it came to weapon skills, even without the Sharingan, Sasuke had the upper hand. Naruto had never been great with weapons. The Uchiha clan, at least, had some formal training in swordsmanship.
The sound of clashing blades rang out non-stop. Both of them were completely serious, neither holding back just because they were friends.
According to Kurama, they were probably using this as an excuse to settle old scores.
But at this rate, forget about settling anything—they could keep fighting for an entire day and still not be finished, let alone determine a winner.
Sasuke realized this too. If they kept going like this, they'd just be fighting for days, and he'd eventually lose because he ran out of chakra. That was not how he planned to end this fight.
He kicked Naruto away. Naruto blocked the attack, but the force still pushed him back.
Sasuke's gaze sharpened. "Naruto, let's speed things up."
As soon as he said that, his crimson eyes turned purple. His Rinnegan darkened as its power surged. "Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation!"
The shattered ground came alive, twisting and rising, closing in on Naruto from all directions.
"Sage Mode, huh?" Naruto's face darkened. His bright blue eyes turned orange. "I know that move too. Sage Art: Frog Kumite!"
Invisible natural energy burst from Naruto's fists, colliding with the rising terrain of Inorganic Reincarnation.
A massive force erupted at the center of impact.
In the end, both techniques canceled each other out and disappeared into thin air.
"Not bad," Sasuke muttered. His eyes gleamed as his chakra flared.
In an instant, a massive, third-stage Susano'o took shape, its right hand drawing back a bow aimed directly at Naruto.
"How about this one?" Sasuke's voice was calm yet intense. "Sage Art: Kagutsuchi Amaterasu Arrow!"
A deep, piercing arrow cut through the air toward him. Naruto smirked, and in an instant, golden light enveloped his body. In Six Paths Sage Mode, his eyes transformed into a strange cross pattern.
"Sage Art: Super Rasengan Wheel!"
This clash was nothing like the small skirmishes before—it was a battle of overwhelming force. The moment their attacks collided, a massive shockwave erupted, turning the ground to dust before their eyes. Even the falling rain was shattered completely.
Trees were uprooted and crushed in the aftermath. The ground split apart, sending debris flying in all directions. Within the raging storm, gold and purple light stood on opposite sides.
Sasuke's smirk widened. His Mangekyou Sharingan glowed faintly as he looked up at the rain falling from the sky. A flash of lightning flickered in his left hand.
"Sage Art: Kirin!"
A massive lightning beast roared as it tore through the clouds. Its fierce eyes locked onto Naruto below, the sheer pressure feeling like a mountain pressing down on him. Instinctively, Naruto raised his arms to shield himself.
Once again, lightning was too fast for the mind to keep up.
The moment the beast emerged from the clouds, Naruto saw it. But by the time his brain registered what was happening, it had already lunged forward, sinking its fangs into him with a deafening roar. The force hit him head-on without holding back.
Gritting his teeth, Naruto's golden chakra surged wildly, reacting to the lightning's energy. In the end, it transformed into a beast just as massive as the lightning monster.
Golden Kurama swung its massive arm, shattering the lightning beast instantly. The colossal figure, towering over a hundred meters, stood in the heart of the forest, roaring in fury.
Naruto stood atop Kurama's head, his face serious as he stared at Sasuke.
That last attack had nearly knocked him down.
Sasuke's smirk deepened, his eyes burning with power. The third stage of Susano'o surged around him, a towering wave of purple chakra swirling higher and higher.
Naruto's expression shifted in surprise as he watched Sasuke's Susano'o, originally just twenty meters tall, continue to grow—until it reached the same height as golden Kurama.
No, at this point, it was no longer just a giant warrior.
Compared to the warm, golden presence of Kurama, this hundred-meter-tall, armored Susano'o looked more like a demonic god.
Even inside Kurama, Naruto felt the pressure.
Sasuke stood on the forehead of the massive purple Susano'o, inside a glowing amethyst crystal. He touched his eye, his voice soft yet chilling.
"A fully realized Susano'o… Brother, is this the power you left for me?"
No… maybe it was even more than that.
Sasuke's gaze sharpened. In the next moment, the fully formed purple Susano'o reached out with its right hand, gripping something in the air. A crimson gourd, its color contrasting sharply with Susano'o's aura, appeared in its grasp. As chakra poured into it, a surge of flames burst from the gourd, taking the shape of a long sword.
"The Totsuka Blade."
Sasuke recognized its name instantly.
"Sealing… Genjutsu… and then, Urashiki, huh?"
"You really did leave me a grand gift, brother."
Sasuke's smirk widened, becoming almost… unsettling.
"This power… I'll make good use of it, Urashiki."
The moment he finished speaking, the mark on Sasuke's left shoulder suddenly spread. Strange black patterns crawled across his body, wrapping around his neck and creeping up his face. A sharp, white, bone-like horn grew from his forehead.
Chakra swirled around him, focusing on his left eye. The power in his Tomoe Rinnegan surged even further. At the same time, his right Mangekyou Sharingan spun wildly—until it fused completely, transforming into a blue Rinnegan.
A thin, vertical line appeared on his forehead, though it remained closed, as if something inside was trying to break free.
"Ugh…"
Sasuke winced in pain, instinctively clutching his right eye. The searing pain was even worse than when his Mangekyou hadn't yet evolved into the Eternal Mangekyou.
A trail of blood-tears dripped from Sasuke's right eye…
Naruto stared, completely dumbfounded.
"Sage Mode… Rinnegan… Totsuka Blade… and the Karma seal…"
"Kurama, am I seriously just here to get my ass kicked?"
Down below, Kurama had an odd expression.
"To be honest… yeah, it kinda looks that way."
Sasuke, this is just unfair.
