And naturally, the first person Wilbur went to was Tommy.
Dream followed behind him, deciding to walk on the ground instead of floating. He had been doing that more and more recently. When he found Tommy, he outlined a plan to scam the entire server.
Dream shook his head, and was about to turn and walk away, when he paused.
It was quite likely that something would go wrong. And there might be a fight, or at least tensions. And tensions were entertaining.
With nothing else to do, Dream shrugged, turned back, and watched them as they went to find their first victim.
It was Tubbo first. Being Tommy's friend, he was quite easy to convince to listen to them, easily giving up his potions along with brewing stands, blaze powder, and blaze rods, by telling him they were getting rid of them.
But not everyone agreed with his decision. Sapnap, in particular, greatly disagreed. Rightly, he didn't trust Tommy and Wilbur. So he grabbed some of the blaze rods and powder as Tubbo tossed them over, shoving Tommy out of the way, and then demanded to see their disposal system.
So Wilbur and Tommy, reluctantly, led him to the camarvan.
Sapnap went inside immediately, not even listening as Tommy and Wilbur protested. It didn't take him long to go into the back of the camarvan, where they had hidden their brewing stands.
Sapnap emerged with a heavy glare, though it didn't seem to affect Wilbur as much as it did Tommy. Caught in the act, they could not protest against Sapnap's accusations when the evidence was right there. That was enough for Tubbo to join Sapnap's side, though he wasn't entirely certain about his choice.
The pair, unsure what to do, especially by themselves, decided they needed more allies. So they enlisted the help of Fundy. Cleverly framing Sapnap as the one who had done wrong, they convinced Fundy to join them. It was now three against two, though the two had better equipment.
Sapnap returned with Tubbo to the camarvan, and threatened Tommy with his bow, attempting to arrest Tommy and Wilbur. Fundy stood by, and Dream watched as the exchange further solidified his position in his mind. Tubbo, meanwhile, wavered, especially when an arrow from Sapnap's bow killed Tommy. Dream knew he would change his mind soon, though for now, he stayed on Sapnap's side.
Tommy, Wilbur, and Fundy retreated together into the camarvan to plan their next move. They were cornered, backs against a wall, trapped. Literally. They didn't think it could get much worse than this. Not outnumbered, but out-geared enough to where it didn't matter. Unfortunately, soon after, Ponk and Purpled arrived in netherite, to 'talk' with Tommy about his recent unsavory activities.
Making a quick plan between the three of them, Wilbur went outside to stall, while Tommy burrowed down through the floor of the camarvan, escaping into a cave beneath it. However, Wilbur wasn't able to stall for very long, and Ponk and Purpled soon followed behind them. Left with Fundy and Tubbo, Wilbur logged out to buy more time before he was captured.
Since Fundy hadn't done anything wrong, having not been a part of the original scam scene by Wilbur and Tommy, he simply stayed there and waited for the outcome.
Tubbo and Eret, a person that Dream hadn't seen before, stood guard and waited for Wilbur to log back on.
Neither of them were very sure about their current allegiances, Dream could tell. Seeing the two of them together, Dream saw a flash of vision. Five men, undefined shapes, in blue and white and bits of red. It wasn't a full view, but it was something.
Pieces were falling into place. He just needed to make sure the places they were falling into were the right places.
The other Dream had a master plan? He wanted to follow the terrible design, the Nightmare? Well, Dream would follow his own plan. He would make his own plan. And they would see which was stronger.
The Nightmare or the Dream.
