CHAPTER 2: Part 2 (UNEXPECTED MEETING)

~ MRITYUNJAY (POV) ~

09:40 PM:

Vidyut and I were discussing the situation about the warehouse as we headed up to the second floor. I'd called him just as he'd gotten into a nasty scuffle with some girl. It was more like a beating he got from her.

"Gajab paagal ladaki thi, pichhe hi padh gai thi, jabaki meri toh koi galati thi hi nahi (She was such a crazy girl, scolding me unnecessarily, even though it was not my fault.)" Vidyut complained. She'd given him a good scolding.

"Toone kuch kaha kyu nahi usse (You didn't say anything.)" I pointed out.

"Kehne deti tab toh kuch kehta, aaj ke baad kabhi mile na, bas.(If she would have let me than would I have said something, after today I never wanna meet her.)" Vidyut grumbled, his frustration evident.

"Vidyut Malhotra got scolded by a random girl. Must have been quite a show," I chuckled.

"Don't laugh at me," Vidyut groaned, his expression hardening. Looking at him now, it was hard to imagine him as the victim. No one can guess this guy tortures people on a daily basis.

"Hmm, btw... I haven't even seen you talking to your sister, did you even wish her?" Vidyut asked, a curious glint in his eyes.

"Of course I did," I replied, cutting him off before he could ask any further questions.

"I am going to sleep now." I told him.

"Then why are we on the second floor? Your room is on..." Vidyut started, his voice trailing off.

"Is there a problem if I sleep on the second floor?" I challenged, my voice firm.

"No, but..." Vidyut began, his voice hesitant.

"Get lost," I spat out, my voice low and menacing. This was his cue to leave.

"Fine. I'll go look for Agastya or Kartik," he said, turning to leave.

'I am so tired, this whole marriage talk business is soul-sucking, even when I don't have a soul,' I thought to myself, exhaustion finally catching up with me. Opening the door to the seventh room, I stepped inside, its the largest of the room on this floor.

>>>>>>>

Some noise disturbed my sleep, someone had opened the door of this room.

Adrenaline surged through me as I grabbed the gun from under my pillow, ready to neutralize any threat. Then, I heard a voice, a murmur, and the sound of footsteps receding. My grip tightened on the gun as I tried to make sense of the situation. I narrowed my eyes.

"Should I just jump out.... NO, No it's too high.... bhagwan ji aap hamesha mujhe hi kyu aise fasaate ho (God, why do you always trap me like this?)"

A voice whispered in desperation, breaking the silence. I couldn't help but chuckle softly. Whoever was out there was so engrossed in their situation, they were completely oblivious to their surroundings.

There was a loud commotion near the windows. Things were crashing, falling, and she was hissing and sighing a lot. This is quite amusing, I shook my head scratching my head with the gun in my hand.

"Aajib musibat hai... (Such a strange problem) Ek din is Lucky ki dono tange tod dungi main...(One day I'll break this Lucky's both legs) Humph."

Hearing her say that,a dark thought curled in my mind. 'Let me break his legs for you.' Whoever this 'Lucky' fellow was, he was already dead in my book for causing this disturbance.

My eyes adjusted to the darkness. I could see her silhouette now. I couldn't see her face but her voice was melodious, I would love to hear that voice calling out my name when I'll be fucking her hard right against the window she was standing near.

She picked up the vase, examining it closely. I stood up dropping the gun in my hand on the bed to go near her.

'I need to know what she looks like from up close. Someone with such a voice have to be perfect in every other way as well'.

"Sorry Bhagwan ji (God), I will pay them as soon as possible but right now I have to do this," she mumbled.

'No baby you'll pay right now. ' A voice whispered from inside my dark soul.

"I can... do this... phew."

As she raised her arm with vase on it, to break the glass of the window.

I clamped down on her hand, her body trembling in terror. Her rapid breaths were a stark contrast to the calm that washed over me.

She was a frightened little rabbit caught in the glare of headlights, her every instinct screaming for escape. She was scared just like a little rabbit caught in a trap wondering about whether she is gonna live or not.

She is mine now, a fragile creature trapped in my world. I would decide her fate. This little rabbit is mine now, it is mine to possess, mine to ruin, mine to break or protect. MINE forever.

I disarmed her with a single motion, taking the vase from her grasp and placing it gently on the table. My eyes were locked onto her, refusing to break the intense connection. Her hair, a cascade of darkness, was intoxicatingly beautiful, both visually and in scent.

Her wrist was as fragile as porcelain, delicate enough to snap with a mere flex of my fingers. With a swift movement, I spun her around, my hand clamping down on her wrist as her body collided with mine.

I pulled her flush against me, my arm encircling her waist. Her eyes, wide with shock, met mine, and for a brief, intense moment, we were locked in a silent battle of wills.

"So beautiful," I breathed, mesmerized by the depths of her eyes. They held a power to draw me in, to drown me. She averted her gaze, a fleeting moment of hesitation.

'Keep looking at me, damn it,' a voice inside me demanded, gently forcing her face back towards mine, my index finger tilting her chin upward. Her petite frame seemed almost ethereal in comparison to my own. She is tiny.

She looked at me with a mixture of fear and desire. Her gaze softened, her eyes holding a newfound vulnerability. Her lips, full and inviting, beckoned me irresistibly. Without conscious thought, I leaned in, our lips meeting in a soft, exploratory kiss. Her eyes fluttered closed as she surrendered to the moment.

My lips working with predatory precision, claiming hers in a possessive kiss. It was a demanding exploration, my tongue invading her mouth with a ruthless hunger. She was caught in a tempest of sensation, my dominance asserting itself with every deepening press of our lips.

Her gentle push broke the spell, forcing me to pull back. My gaze fell upon her flushed face and impossibly red lips. She was perfection personified. A surge of possessiveness, primal and raw, coursed through me as I took in the sight.

Her eyes widened in shock as she gasped, her hand instinctively covering her trembling lips. The intensity of the moment had caught her off guard, and fear began to replace the earlier surrender. Her eyes, once filled with a mix of desire and vulnerability, now reflected a flicker of fear.

"Wh... who a... are you?" she stammered, her voice trembling with fear and confusion.

"Guess," I challenged her, a hint of amusement in my voice.

Her eyes remained fixed on me, wide with a mix of fear and confusion.

"A... are you Hu..." she began, her voice trailing off as her gaze shifted away.

*knock knock*

A sharp rap echoed through the room, interrupting the tense moment. 'who's this bastard, distracting my little rabbit's attention from me' I thought.

"Who the hell is that?" I muttered, my annoyance growing. This was exactly what I didn't need right now.

"Oh no!" she whispered, her voice filled with terror as the knock echoed through the room.

"Haath chhodiye (Leave my hand)" she demanded, I was amused. This little thing she is trying to order me around.

"chhodiye na! (Leave Please!)," she demanded, her voice rising slightly. Ducking her head, she focused her attention on the door. When she finally looked up, her glare at me was intense. I released her hand, raising my hands in mock surrender.

She darted towards the door, her movements frantic. Pressing her ear against the wooden panel, she strained to listen.

*knock knock*

Another insistent knock echoed through the room, a jarring interruption. 'Not again I'll teach that person a lesson he will never forget.' Whoever was on the other side had an impeccable sense of timing. My patience was wearing thin.

She gnawed at her nails, her brow furrowed in concentration. It was clear she was lost in thought.

"What happened?" I asked, my voice laced with curiosity. She hesitated, weighing her options, her face an open book. A subtle nod indicated her decision to confide in me, And then she smiled at me.

Her smile was like a sunbeam breaking through stormy clouds, instantly illuminating my world. I was captivated, my senses overwhelmed by her presence. I don't know what happened after that, I was mesmerized.
