The World Building And Power Ranking

This chapter acts as a comprehensive guide to the world within the novel. The details provided are gradually uncovered throughout the narrative, and this section offers a convenient reference. Be aware that it may contain minor spoilers for those who wish to avoid revealing key plot elements.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I) World Energy.

Let's start by explaining the different kinds of energy in the world, like Chakra, Ki, and the like.

That's right, there's not only one kind of energy in the novel since most creatures have a source of power, such as some flesh, Bloodline to be precise; some just use the mana sourced from the natural environment and the like.

The energy systems are like this:

1) Ki Energy:

It's the vital energy harnessed for physical and spiritual enhancement. It has many characteristics, such as enhancing physical strength, speed, and durability; it is used for martial arts techniques and internal focus.

- Ki is a basic energy that many people, like warriors, assassins, knights, and many others, use, so those who use it don't have a specific name and are called Ki Users.

2) Chakra Energy:

Different from Ki, which is the vital energy available in everyone's physique but depends on the physique one has, Chakra uses Life Force. At the conceptual level, theoretically, everyone has an infinite life force and is immortal, but dies due to the physical body reaching its limit. The Chakramancer (practitioner who wields chakra) channels the life force through their meridians, which then becomes Chakra, making it tangible to use elemental jutsu or enhance their physique.

3) Mana Energy:

As mentioned in the introduction about World Energy, Mana is a source of Magical energy sourced from the environment or personal reservoirs after absorbing. Generally, mana is stored in something called a Mana Core, but it's not absolute since there are professions like Runemancer who use mana through symbols called Runes that can allow some items to store Mana. Mana users are called Mages.

4) Spirit Energy:

Spirit energy is sourced from the spirit of something alive, including but not limited to humans, trees, water, etc. The Spirit Energy user is able to summon Spirits, reflections of their spirit, including swords, spears, or even something alive like animals that can gain consciousness over time. Spirit Energy users are called Spiritualists.

5) Blood Power:

Technically, it's not an energy, but it's still a source of power. Bloodlines are something that some beings are born with; new bloodlines can be generated by the combination of two different bloodlines or through some experiments. People who have a bloodline power have different names depending on their bloodline powers.

I will stop here for now to avoid spoiling the other types of energy, as those are something one could gradually understand by reading the novel.

II) Power Ranking:

Honestly speaking, I don't like where the power ranking is so messed up because all kinds of realms are introduced. Hence, there's a total of nine ranks in the novel, totaling all the realm novels, but don't worry, each has nine sub-levels. As it's only the beginning of the novel, I will introduce the first rank, Ember.

First Rank: Ember – The starting level of power, with nine sub-ranks showing increasing mastery over basic abilities no matter the profession.

- Ember F: Initial awakening with minimal abilities; for example, when a warrior uses Ki, he can only enhance the strength of one arm. Even so, the arm strengthened is random and not under his control, but don't think he is weak. The enhanced arm can crush a car if in the modern world.

- Ember E: Improved control and a slight increase in power; here, there's some improvement, although minimal. He can already choose the arm he wants to enhance, but the control is still not enough.

- Ember D: Basic manipulation; at this stage, it can finally be considered to have basic control over one's power. The control is more fine-tuned; for example, when one chooses the arm to be enhanced, he can control to what degree it's enhanced or enhance one finger to improve penetration power.

- Ember C: Can affect small areas; it's a superhuman at this stage, basically having power ranging from 5 tons to 10 tons. Do you know what 10 tons means? He could lift a large bus or a truck in the modern world.

- Ember B: Enhanced control over abilities; if before he had more than 10 tons of power, now every punch holds at least 10 tons of power.

- Ember A: Can influence larger areas; it's no longer at the level of what mortals can do because at this stage, one can reach an astonishing lifting power of 100 tons. What's the concept of 100 tons? You can look for the Boeing 757-200; it weighs 100 tons.

- Ember S: Capable of powerful but localized effects; not only is the lifting power enhanced, but the penetration power has also surpassed 100 tons, easily able to destroy a solid building.

- Ember S+: Nearing the next tier with strong but still contained effects; once an S+ Ember gives his all, he is able to deliver a punch that can cause damage to a limited surrounding, almost surrounding a small town.

- Ember X: Ready for transition to the Flame Rank; one can break to the next level as long as they wish, but most people choose not to in order to temper their bodies further.

Well, although there are many things that I want to introduce, like the kingdom, empire, and guild levels, I guess I would stop here not to spoil you.
