Chapter 165 - Chapter 165. Mother Earth

Zeus finally brought Gaia to the Grand Hall of Mount Olympus, knowing well that their discussion would be a long one. Especially after she mentioned Poseidon and Athena, two of the most notorious troublemakers in Zeus's life, rivalled only by Hermes.

 

The Grand Hall shimmered in the golden light of an eternal dawn. Marble pillars, tall and flawless, rose toward an open sky painted in amber and rose. Each column was crowned with gold filigree that caught the sunlight, scattering it across the marble floor like liquid fire. The air itself hummed softly, filled with the faint scent of olive and myrrh, the scent of Olympus itself.

 

"Still not changed much," Gaia murmured as she took her seat across from Zeus, her tone light but her gaze sharp. "Except that you've managed to get even more children since the last time I came here."
