Chapter 338 - Chapter 338

The two walked out of the building to see someone staring down at the corpses lying outside the building. Melissa instantly stepped back as she recognised the red dress and blond hair…

"That's…", Melissa tugged at Ali's arm as she cowered behind him.

Seraphina turned around to see Ali with a young female. "Why didn't you come to the castle when you got here?", Seraphina asked as she stepped closer to Ali.

"You know her?", Melissa asked in a low voice from behind Ali.

"And who is this dirty rat hiding behind you?", Seraphina sled in her arrogant voice. For some reason, she didn't like Melissa.

Ali stood between them and looked Seraphina down, his black eyes meeting her fake blue eyes. "The corpses are all yours. Have our villagers clean up the place and…", Ali handed her the paper Arlo wrote for him.

"I want every name here in the castle cells before sunrise. One name missing and you will be punished…", Ali ordered the royal vampire who was still in the process of getting to grips with the reality of Ali ordering her like this.

"Hey, I just took over an entire town and this is it? This is what I get?", Seraphina responded with a fiery tone.

Ali stepped forward, his face close to hers. "Seraphina, you're my slave", Ali said directly into her ear with his cold voice. "If I wanted to I could have you dig a hole in the ground for the rest of your life.", Ali stepped forward and the vampire stepped back as he kept their close distance.

"So, the corpses are yours. Now go do what I told you to do. I don't want to hear this shit from you again.", Ali said looking her straight in the eyes. He kept the eye contact for a couple of moments before slowly stepping back and grabbing Melissa's hand, walking her away from the building.

Seraphina behind him tightened her fist as the blood of the dead men around her pierced through their skin and floated up in the air before gathering into a sphere of dense blood. Seraphina stabbed her hand through the sphere and the blood entered her hand, getting absorbed by her.

"Bastard", she said to herself with her red eyes shining in the moonlight, but then she staggered as she felt a tightness in her chest.

Melissa didn't say a word as Ali's hand pulled hers. 'She said she did it for him…Does she work for him? What kind of relationship do they have? Wait, if she works for him then…', Melissa looked at the back of Ali's head.

'Is he…', Ali stopped and turned around…He opened his mouth to say something, but Melissa beat him to it.

"Are you the Dragon Master, Ali?", Melissa asked, looking up at him.

Ali didn't answer immediately but let go of her hand. "Yes", Ali answered, and Melissa took a step back.

"Oh my goodness, my Lord, I didn't know…", Melissa bowed to Ali, and her whole aura changed. She seemed more like a lady with high-class mannerisms.

"Melissa, do you know where this old man who helps your cousin lives?", Ali asked, ignoring her surprise at discovering his identity.

"Yes, my Lord. He lives at the edge of town near the western gate.", Melissa answered.

"Ok let's go", Ali went ahead and picked her up in a princess carry again.

"My Lord, you can't", Melissa said aloud.

"Why not?", Ali asked, looking at her face, which was close to his now.

"Well, you're the Lord of Obidos, and I'm…I'm undeserving of being picked up by you, My Lord.", she answered shyly and blushing, maybe the same fantasy she had since young of a handsome lord asking for her hand in marriage wasn't dead.

"Undeserving… I decide if you're undeserving or not, and guess what? I like to carry beautiful women in my arms.", Ali smirked as he jumped in the air and exploded up in the sky, his body flying to the west.

'B-B-B-Beautiful, he called me beautiful…', Melissa was so dazed by what Ali said to her that she ignored that she was flying in the air right now.

Moments later, Ali landed in the western section of Obidos. He landed in a dark alley with Melissa setting her down. From there, she led him to a lone, run-down house by the side of the town wall. "He lives here…", Melissa said as she walked casually up to the door to knock, but then Ali grabbed her and blocked her mouth with his hand.

'My wrist is burning…', Ali thought as his Force sense alerted him of danger inside the house.

Ali kept Melissa behind as he stealthily approached the house and sneaked next to the window, blocked by a curtain except for a small slit through which he looked inside.

Inside the small house, the living room wasn't there but was replaced with a large bench where pots of acid and other dark-coloured liquids bubbled under the fire. There were monster parts from goblins and other monsters Ali didn't even know hanging from the walls of the house.

At the side of the living room, there was an alchemy workshop. An old man wearing a dark purple hood held a piece of paper, reading its contents with his hands shaking and his face slowly twitching.

The old man didn't sense the deep black eye staring at him from outside, the same black eye that watched the old man's normal human face transforming to that of a dark purple goblin with ugly fangs extruding from the side of his face before he shook his head and returned to his human form.

Ali walked back to Melissa and whispered something in her ear. Melissa looked at him, surprised, but she agreed, nodding as she walked up to the door and knocked.

"Mister, are you there…?Please help me", Melissa said as she knocked on the door.

The old man opened the door slightly, hiding his workshop and looking at her through the slit.

"Melissa dear, what brings you here? Did something happen?", the old man spoke in his friendly tone.

"Oliver, Oliver's coughing blood and I don't know what to do!!", Melissa said as tears welled up in her eyes and she looked distraught.

'Coughing blood? He shouldn't be able to even breathe, much less COUGH!!!', the old man thought before suddenly the star-shaped necklace under his clothes started shaking wildly out of nowhere.

"YOU", the old man's face switched to his goblin appearance as he in a split second turned around and reached his hand out towards a wooden staff leaning on the wall. Red lines all over his house started to light up as he activated the spell he had chanted into the walls of the house.

But out of nowhere from his side a black-veined hand came flying at him at a ridiculous speed his body could never react to…
