Uchiha clan compound, training ground.
Tōshirō and Fugaku stood facing each other, engaged in training.
Initially, Tōshirō couldn't be bothered to spar with him, but Fugaku was relentlessly persistent.
Seeing his pitiful state, Tōshirō reluctantly agreed to train with him for a while.
Tōshirō raised his hands, striking a very flashy Wing Chun opening stance.
Compared to Tōshirō's overtly showy posture, Fugaku was much simpler. He darted forward, and as he neared Tōshirō, he forcefully pushed off the ground, leaping into the air to execute a common UFC technique: the superman punch.
Tōshirō, with his inner gate guarded, smiled slightly and easily blocked it.
Fugaku swung a punch at his head.
Tōshirō spread his hands outwards, blocking again.
Fugaku, seeing his center open and a weakness, pressed in close, thrusting a straight punch.
Tōshirō smoothly changed his move, swatting to intercept and grabbing the fist.
With every move blocked, an exasperated Fugaku switched from punching to kicking, raising his knee and leg to unleash a front kick aimed directly at Tōshirō's abdomen.
Tōshirō used the same trick again, binding hands and catching the leg, easily blocking it.
Fugaku retracted his leg, adopting a horse stance for a straight punch.
Tōshirō spread his hands outwards to block.
.....
For the purpose of sparring, Tōshirō only defended and did not attack, effortlessly parrying all of Fugaku's attacks, which came like a fierce storm.
After several rounds of exchanges, Fugaku's fighting style remained highly aggressive, and the consequence of this was immense physical exertion.
His drenched hair and heavy breathing were the best evidence.
On the other hand, Tōshirō remained full of energy, barely breaking a sweat.
Fugaku was a little unwilling. "Damn it, to be so strong!"
Tōshirō glanced at him, giving him a high compliment. "Actually, you're already very impressive."
Tōshirō was speaking the truth. Although Tōshirō was unilaterally dominating Fugaku, one had to consider the huge age difference.
Fugaku's age was at the beginning stage of rapid growth in strength, while Tōshirō had already been running for an unknown period.
Fugaku thought Tōshirō was teasing him and said indignantly, "Again!"
Tōshirō shook his head.
Fugaku frowned. "Is that all?"
Tōshirō chuckled. "I'll switch you to a different training location."
Fugaku looked puzzled. "A different training location?"
"You'll know when we get there."
Tōshirō kept him in suspense.
Before he officially left, he formed a cross hand sign, summoning a Shadow Clone.
He said with a gentle smile to the beautiful little loli who had been watching the spar, "Mikoto, let's train."
Mikoto was startled. "Me too?"
Tōshirō chuckled. "You'll be going to the Ninja Academy soon. Although I think you'll be fine with your talent, it's never wrong to start formal training early."
Tōshirō had once used a chakra tester to test Mikoto's chakra nature.
She possessed both Water and Fire chakra natures.
Such opposing attributes occurring in one person were uncommon.
Most people only had one chakra nature transformation, and those with exceptional talent would have two.
For example, Fugaku possessed both Lightning and Fire chakra natures.
Combining the chakra natures of these two, Tōshirō understood why Sasuke and Itachi possessed those two chakra natures.
Sasuke inherited Fugaku's Lightning and Fire.
Itachi, on the other hand, inherited Mikoto's Water and Fire.
In the original story, besides using Fire Release ninjutsu, Itachi's most frequently used element was Water Release.
Tōshirō stated directly, "If I have the chance in the future, I'd like to become your jonin instructor."
Tōshirō was still a genin, but with his strength, as long as he went to the battlefield and accumulated some military merits, rising to the jonin rank would surely be a matter of minutes.
Fugaku was startled. "You want to be Mikoto's teacher?"
"Yes, is there a problem?"
"Aren't you uninterested in this kind of thing?"
"That depends on the situation." Tōshirō added, "For example, if it were you, I probably wouldn't be interested."
Fugaku: ...
...
...
Looking at the huge forest surrounded by a large barbed wire fence, Fugaku's face showed surprise. "Is this the Forest of Death?"
"Let's go." Tōshirō chuckled, completely ignoring the giant barbed wire fence and leaping directly over it.
Fugaku followed closely behind. He had thought Tōshirō was going to catch some of the giant creatures inside for training, but unexpectedly, Tōshirō led him to a crimson plain.
"This is..."
"This is Akahara..." Tōshirō said as he walked. "Come with me."
Fugaku glanced at him strangely and followed him to a Buddha statue.
Tōshirō placed his hand on the Buddha statue. "This is the place..."
Fugaku looked around, his expression growing even more puzzled.
Tōshirō chuckled and pushed open the statue in front of him. "Then, good luck with your training."
With that, under Fugaku's bewildered gaze, he instantly disappeared using a Body Flicker Technique.
Fugaku: ???
Just as he was about to shout and ask what was going on, he suddenly noticed something crawling out of the ground beside him.
Soon, those things crawled out of the ground. They were brown, humanoid figures—a group of puppets.
"What is going on here..."
Fugaku hadn't quite figured out what was happening when, as if to interrupt his thoughts, these puppets rushed at him in a swarm.
There were many puppets, but fortunately, their individual strength wasn't high, so Fugaku could still handle them alone.
Fugaku easily dodged a puppet's attack and countered, kicking the puppet's body away.
During his engagement with the puppets, Fugaku gradually understood what was going on. It seemed this was the training Tōshirō had mentioned.
Fugaku snorted. He was being underestimated. He could easily take care of all these puppets at once.
With that thought, Fugaku pushed off the ground, retreating to a safe distance from the puppets. He quickly performed hand signs, accumulating a large amount of chakra in his mouth.
Just as he was about to use "Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation" to wipe out all the puppets in one go, a familiar voice from nearby interrupted his jutsu.
"No, you can't. Using Fire Release would affect the environment here."
Hearing Tōshirō's voice, it seemed he hadn't left but was observing from somewhere.
Fugaku clicked his tongue, aborted the jutsu, and switched to close combat to attack the puppets. He thought, "It'll just be a bit slower, that's all." He planned to take care of these puppets one by one. But as he fought, he gradually noticed something was wrong.
"Wait, these puppets can even revive?"
At first, when he had more stamina, Fugaku could calmly deal with these puppets. But as his stamina gradually declined, even he started to struggle.
Just then, as if on cue, perhaps having disturbed a nearby giant creature, a huge wild bopped out of nowhere and charged at him.
Tōshirō, seeing that an accident might occur if things continued this way, immediately intervened. He condensed ice needles in his hand and threw them with a swing of his palm.
Ice Release: Ice Soul Silver Needles.
The giant wild boar's major nerve points were all hit, and it let out a cry of pain. However, instead of being restrained, it had the opposite effect. Its eyes reddened with fury, and it shifted its target, charging towards Tōshirō.
Tōshirō frowned. Indeed, without the Sharingan's insight, trying to seal pressure points was impossible.
The large wild boar attacked swiftly. Tōshirō remained unmoved, gathering ice-natured chakra in his palm, and cold air swirled.
He swung his palm, unleashing a spear of ice that pierced the wild boar's throat. Blood instantly gushed out. Having suffered a fatal wound, combined with the chilling force entering its body, it instantly died and collapsed to the ground.
Ice Release: Ice Soul Sharp Spear.
Like the previous Ice Soul Silver Needles, both were techniques developed as extensions of the Ice Soul Palm.
These two techniques were inspired by the Chidori extension techniques used by Sasuke (second pillar).
After dealing with the large wild boar, Tōshirō exuded steam, sweeping away a large number of puppets like a whirlwind.
Fugaku haughtily said, "You don't need to help. I can handle it myself."
"Yes, yes..." Tōshirō indulged him while moving the Buddha statue back to its original place, otherwise, it would be endless.
Soon, these puppets fell to the ground one after another, as if their puppet strings had been cut.
Fugaku, with keen observation, understood the problem. Pushing open this stone Buddha statue was equivalent to triggering some kind of mechanism that would summon puppets to fight, and putting it back in place would close the mechanism.
Fugaku couldn't help but wonder, "Why would this place have such a mechanism?"
This place was usually used for the Chūnin Exams, so it wasn't surprising to find traps.
However, from the perspective of a trap, it seemed unqualified. Not that it wasn't powerful, but given its remote location and the trigger conditions, the probability of it being activated was simply too low.
Tōshirō chuckled. "This thing, strictly speaking, isn't a mechanism."
"Not a mechanism?"
Fugaku's face showed a puzzled expression.
Tōshirō explained, "It should be considered a kind of seal."
