Aiko's confession that she had met another slime herd and made it extinct still lingered in my head.

The extinction caused by the "slime war" still feels funny and makes me reach for the glass jar containing the slime monster samples taken by the scout troop.

The moment I saw the contents inside the glass jar, I cast an analysis magic spell to find out what kind of monster was inside.
"Hmm... just an ordinary slime," I muttered after learning the information about the slime monster that had been extinct due to the invasion of the stealth slime herd.
"I hope the extinction of this herd of slime monsters doesn't trigger any changes in the ecosystem of the dense forest we're exploring," I said after doing a brief analysis on one of the slime samples found by the scouts.
Aiko looked a little awkward when I did the analysis magic chant and found out the type of slime that the stealth slime herd had wiped out.
