Chapter 820 - Chapter 819: Brewing the Impossible

The Trailblazer opening a path for Harmony.

It sounded absurd, yet from the very moment Pei Guang brought 'Xipe' over, that absurdity had already become reality.

After all, Harmony, as a unique existence, technically shouldn't have an individual Emanator in the true sense.

But it wasn't a big problem: since one had now appeared, then one simply existed.

The universe was vast—things beyond understanding weren't exactly impossible.

Just a mere "Harmony dog/cat cake," that's all.

As long as an "Order Cake" or "Order Dog Cake" didn't pop out next, everything was still… fine overall.

But as Gallagher looked around at the increasing number of people inside the bar, a strange sense of déjà vu washed over him.

"Heh, Nameless Guests, Masked Fools, History Fictionologists, Memokeepers… this really feels like the old days all over again."

Gallagher, who knew Penacony's history well, couldn't help but feel sentimental. The last time this many figures had gathered together was during the founding of Penacony itself.

To see such a scene once again now… he felt deeply satisfied.

Feeling emotional, Gallagher looked toward Pei Guang before him. "Didn't think an old dog like me would live to witness such a meaningful moment. To show my respect, let me mix you a drink."

Pei Guang: "Just one? That won't do! There are five of us here! We need five drinks. Of course, if you want to be honest and make fifty, I'll be even happier."

Gallagher laughed and cursed, "Fifty drinks? Are you trying to kill me? Alright, whatever flavor you want—pick any ingredients from the bar!"

That comment made Siobhan instinctively grumble, "You really have no shame, huh!"

Gallagher: "Come on, you were thinking the same thing."

Siobhan didn't reply, just smiled and looked toward Pei Guang. "I was going to say the same thing myself—didn't expect him to beat me to it."

Pei Guang: "Then I won't hold back. But I've got one question: can you really mix anything I hand you?"

"As long as you can bring it out and it fits in a glass, I guarantee I can make something unique out of it."

For an "experienced" bartender like Gallagher, as long as he could identify the taste and texture of a drink, he could easily combine ingredients to create something distinct.

Hearing that confident answer, Pei Guang's eyes lit up.

Truth be told, he'd always wanted to mix his various drinks together to see what would happen. He'd even tried using his synthesis pot, but, well… the results weren't great.

He also tried just pouring them together: not only did it taste awful, but the effects were exactly the same as drinking them separately.

In the end, it was better to drink them one by one: at least that way, they tasted decent.

But now, these two were saying they could mix anything? That instantly excited Pei Guang.

"Awesome! Didn't think I'd run into NPCs who can mix potions here!"

Indeed: in Pei Guang's eyes, the moment they said "any ingredients," he'd already decided that these two had to be the kind of NPCs who could fuse existing items into something more powerful.

And so, Pei Guang enthusiastically took out his carefully hoarded treasures from his journey.

Under Gallagher's astonished gaze, Pei Guang pulled out: a large barrel of dark brown liquid, a gourd of clear, scentless fluid, a bottle of vibrant green liquid brimming with vitality, and a few eyeballs.

First, the green liquid: it radiated with the power of abundance, so much that it was almost overflowing. And this guy was seriously using it as a drink ingredient?

As for what it was and where it came from… you'd have to ask the Ambrosial Arbor.

The tree was so huge that even drawing some of its sap with a person-sized straw didn't make it react: not to mention, the Arbor itself hadn't refused!

The gourd's contents were Bailu's dragon saliva: an entire gourd infused with rare herbs he'd collected. According to Bailu, as long as someone wasn't completely dead, a single sip could bring them back.

This was one of Pei Guang's most precious trump cards—and now he'd brought it out.

As for the first item… it was his oldest find: sleepy coffee.

Nothing too special, but highly effective: so of course he'd added it to the pile.

Pei Guang: "Here! These three—use them however you like, either straight or mixed with other stuff, I'll leave it to the expert."

Gallagher stared blankly at the collection, a huge question mark practically floating above his head.

Sure, he was a bartender and could sometimes brew strange drinks through flavor balancing, but these… these were on another level entirely.

He honestly wasn't sure he could handle them.

Just smelling the dragon saliva made his entire body relax: it was clearly something precious.

And as for those eyeballs from Something Unto Death units: he didn't even want to imagine what kind of torture they'd gone through for Pei Guang to end up with their eyes.

Still, he couldn't exactly lecture Pei Guang: after all, from the latter's perspective, those things had been trying to kill him.

Everything he'd done was self-defense.

Finally, Gallagher's gaze settled on the coffee.

That one, he actually recognized: and that was exactly why he was wary.

The coffee itself wasn't particularly special, but it induced deep sleep—not just mental, but total, body and mind.

Put simply, it was too effective.

If it had been even slightly weaker, everyone Pei Guang and Stelle had knocked out along the way would've gone straight into Penacony's dream realm.

Looking at the three completely different liquids and that one odd material, Gallagher's eyelid twitched. He instantly regretted saying "anything goes."

He'd just dug himself into a pit.

But then…

He looked again at Pei Guang's coffee, then picked up the gourd. "Alright… I'll use these two. That green stuff looks way too sketchy—I'll skip it."

Pei Guang: "Alright~ but be careful with the coffee. That stuff's got a serious sleep effect: use too much and you'll knock people out cold, so go easy, okay?"

Gallagher: "Got it! Just sit tight and wait!"
