Zenith's brows furrowed in confusion when she entered the restaurant and found it empty. This wasn't any high-end restaurant where people had to queue for months to get a reservation, but it was still a popular one among the netizens.
So, having no customers during the peak hour was simply making no sense.
"This …" she turned to exchange a gaze with David, a little awkward to ask if he had any clue.
However, he stared back at her as though he was equally clueless. "Although I would have loved to book the entire restaurant for our date, I still don't have such a capability. In a few years, I might have. But right now …" he shook his head, and Zenith smiled, understanding his humour.
"I guess someone else booked it. We should ask them once," she said before turning to look for someone around.
And right around the corner, she soon spotted a waitress. She gestured to David once before calling out politely.
"Excuse me!"
