November passed. The ginkgo trees of Ginkgo Village finally turned yellow.
Little Cousin had originally planned to save some money and splurge on a trip to Ginkgo Village this year to take some photos, but now she had given up on the idea. On one hand, she was very satisfied with the ginkgo photos she took on her previous trip to Changping Lookout. She felt that even if she went to Ginkgo Village, she couldn't take pictures more beautiful than those. Although the photos she submitted were like clay oxen sinking into the sea, eliciting no response at all. On the other hand, this year's Singles' Day had come too early, and the ginkgo trees turned yellow too late. Consequently, she had already spent all her money and was now deeply in debt.
December arrived. Winter was approaching.
Chunming, however, was experiencing a continuous spell of good weather, reaffirming its reputation as a city of 'eternal spring'.
