The downtown area was thriving and located inland, so the buildings were relatively tall, with about forty stories each. The building in front of them had been contorted into a bizarre shape, and by the thirteenth floor, it looked as if there had been a fault line, and it was already beginning to lean, with the entire building starting to tilt to one side.
Many people on the street were screaming; some were running into the building, trying to rescue others, while some were running out in a panic. Numerous martial artists had hurried over and sealed off the building.
"Don't get close! There's a problem with the space here!" a city guardian shouted loudly, maintaining order at the scene and preventing martial artists who wanted to enter the building to save others.
"My wife is still inside, I must save her!" a burly man with a beard cried out in desperation.
