Baba La stood before the desk, her head hung low, fingers fidgeting with the hem of her skirt, her body tense, her face etched with unease.
"That's what happened..."
She was well aware of who her backer was. When Charlie was around, he had entrusted Carl to look after her. Now, of course, she was determined to cling tightly to him as her support.
Carl had been just a Wizard Apprentice before, but now he was an Official Wizard, the ostensible owner of the apothecary.
As a dependent, it was natural for her to report everything and show her loyalty.

Carl seemed contemplative and waved her away. "I understand. You can go now. Don't worry about this matter; just keep working as usual."
"Yes." Baba La let out a sigh of relief, bowing as she backed away.
Once Baba La closed the door behind her, Carl thought for a moment and then took out a piece of Magic Paper, writing a line of text on it.
