On the way back, neither of them spoke.
It wasn't until they were almost at the place that Chen Yang thoughtfully spoke up and asked the disciple a question.
"Do you know why your master, Master De Rui, is having issues with his health preventing his cultivation from advancing?" Chen Yang asked directly.
The disciple led the way, walking ahead.
Upon hearing this, he paused his steps for a moment and replied indifferently that he knew, but did not elaborate further.
"Can you tell me about it? Maybe I can help your master."
Chen Yang crossed his arms in front of his chest and said calmly.
Hearing this, the disciple stopped again, first looking back at Chen Yang with surprise, then his expression turned disdainful.
"My master's condition has been looked at by others, and for decades it has been of no use. What makes you think you can help? Where does your confidence come from?" The disciple also crossed his arms, with a face full of disdain.
