"So, I'm back again..."
Early in the morning, at the drizzly Imperial Capital International Airport, a passenger plane landed steadily on the runway after several hours of flight. The cabin door opened, and a boarding ladder was lowered.
Lin Fan, empty-handed, followed the other first-class passengers down in a single file. He couldn't help but gaze around, overcome with emotion.
"Mr. Lin, thank you, thank you so much!" the middle-aged couple holding their child said, thanking Lin Fan excitedly once more.
Even the medical personnel in their white coats nearby cast respectful glances his way.
"It's nothing. If you run into any trouble, feel free to contact me," Lin Fan said, glancing at the boy with the shaved head.
The little one was fast asleep, his complexion a deathly white. Lin Fan's gaze shifted. He reached out, touched the top of the boy's head, and quietly transferred a strand of Inner Breath into him. Instantly, the boy's previously furrowed brow relaxed.
