Chapter 1 - Chapter 1, Woman, You Must Obey!

Woman, listen to me!

「Hangcheng City.」

「Supreme Mansion Hotel.」

Shen Fanyun stood up and pressed a palm to his temple. The large amount of alcohol he had consumed last night still left him feeling groggy. He glanced out of the corner of his eye to see a woman with skin as smooth as jade, utterly naked, mumbling a few words. A bizarre atmosphere washed over him like a tide, and Shen Fanyun was completely bewildered. How did a woman end up in my room? I got drunk last night, and then I ran into her, who was also drunk?

In just a few seconds, Shen Fanyun pieced together the sequence of events. He opened the young woman's purse, pulled out her ID card, and saw her name was Su Xiyang, twenty-four years old.

Su Xiyang? The name was entirely unfamiliar to Shen Fanyun, who had just returned to Hangcheng City. He chalked it up to a random fling. Without a word, Shen Fanyun tucked the ID back into her purse.

Just then, Su Xiyang turned over. Her full breasts rose gently, her fair skin tinged with a healthy blush. And, of course, a crimson stain like a peach blossom was imprinted on the snow-white quilt.

A virgin's blood!

A headache began to throb in Shen Fanyun's temples. If it were just any woman, he wouldn't have given it a second thought, but this one was clearly a virgin.

Su Xiyang suddenly shot upright, the quilt falling away and revealing her graceful figure to Shen Fanyun's eyes once more. The sunlight scattered evenly over her, making her beauty seem surreal.

"Who are you?" Su Xiyang asked warily.

"My name is Shen Fanyun."

"Last night, did we…?"

In that instant, Su Xiyang had the urge to jump out of the window. What was done was done, and what was lost was lost. The virginity she had guarded for twenty years was gone completely. Strangely, however, a sense of vengeful satisfaction began to stir deep within her. Even if she had maintained her resolve last night, she would have eventually been ruined by that bastard who had coveted her for so long. When she weighed her options, inflicting a lifetime of heartbreaking regret on Wang Yanwen didn't seem like such a bad deal after all.

Moreover, she found Shen Fanyun's looks and physique quite satisfying. He had sharp, sword-like brows, starry eyes, and chiseled features. This was a young man brimming with masculine vigor, far more handsome than the pot-bellied, acne-ridden Wang Yanwen, who was like a toad lusting after a swan.

"Hmm?" Shen Fanyun wondered how he should explain, or perhaps, console her.

Right in front of him, Su Xiyang stood up confidently, wrapped herself in a bath towel, and declared decisively, "I don't want any explanations, nor do I need them. This was just a brief encounter. From today on, I need you to forget about me." She pulled a wad of cash from her purse and threw it in front of Shen Fanyun. "Disappear from my world completely. Otherwise, I, Su Xiyang, will not let you off!"

This woman is quite interesting. A wicked smile touched Shen Fanyun's lips as he nonchalantly put on his shirt. "And how do you plan on not letting me off?"

Su Xiyang was speechless. Indeed, she bore him no grudge or malice. They didn't even know each other before this, so on what grounds could she hunt him down?

But to prevent any unnecessary trouble later, Su Xiyang kept her face cold and commanded sharply, "Just do as I say. Why are you talking so much nonsense? Do you dare defy me? Believe it or not, I can make you disappear from the face of the earth!"

A physical threat?

Shen Fanyun buttoned his shirt pocket, turned around, and placed his hands on Su Xiyang's shoulders. Then, he used one hand to tilt her chin up, carefully adjusting her position.

SLAP!

A loud crack echoed as his hand landed squarely on Su Xiyang's face.

"Feeling clear-headed now?" Shen Fanyun asked. She's young, but she has a big mouth. Daring to threaten me?!

Su Xiyang was stunned. Did this guy just slap me? He actually slapped me? In her entire life, no one had ever dared to slap her, let alone across the face.

Clutching her stinging cheek, she was on the verge of tears. Her thoughts drifted to Wang Yanwen's relentless pursuit, his mix of coercion and persuasion, and the endless, disgusting troubles he caused. She collapsed onto the bed. She was indeed sober and calm now, but she was also on the verge of a complete breakdown.

"Why? Why does everyone bully me?" she cried out. "Why can't I just live a peaceful life? Why won't any of you let me? You're either after my looks or lusting after my body. And now, why does even a complete stranger like you dare to hit me?"

So, she really is deeply troubled. No matter. Since their paths had crossed, Shen Fanyun wouldn't just stand by and do nothing. After all, this was no simple fling; he was her first man.

"I will take responsibility for you," Shen Fanyun said, adding with emphasis, "Also, I like obedient women. I hope you remember that."

"Take responsibility for me? Hah! Aren't you afraid of biting off more than you can chew? What responsibility can you possibly take? Do you have any idea how much trouble I'm in? Do you know how powerful Wang Yanwen of the Extraordinary Group is?" Su Xiyang shrieked, tears streaming down her pitiful face.

Shen Fanyun turned, his expression cold as he raised his right hand again.

It seemed Su Xiyang had learned her lesson. She flinched, shrinking her neck. Fear mingled with a fresh wave of grievance. This man had slept with her and was now hitting her—he was too brutal.

"You're not human!" Su Xiyang broke down, sobbing uncontrollably.

Shen Fanyun left a business card on the bedside table. "If you run into trouble, call me anytime."

"Go! Just get out!" she wailed through her tears. "I don't want to see you! I never want to see you again in my life! You're all devils and bastards, just like them! None of you want me to live in peace!"

Shen Fanyun shook his head helplessly, then forced her to unlock her phone so they could exchange numbers.

After Shen Fanyun left, Su Xiyang instinctively tried to stand, but she staggered after just two steps. A dull, aching pain pulsed from her lower abdomen.

"That bastard. He was too rough last night. My… my legs feel weak," Su Xiyang muttered, shaking with anger. She touched her cheek and stared blankly into space.

If word got out that she, the famously icy beauty of Hangcheng City, had been deflowered by some unknown man… it was likely that half the men in the city would want to kill Shen Fanyun.

「Downstairs.」

Shen Fanyun got into a commercial van that had been waiting for him.

"You slept in for quite a while today," Zhan Feng, his driver and loyal subordinate, said with a smile.

"Ran into a bit of trouble," Shen Fanyun sighed.

"Trouble?"

"Slept with a woman," Shen Fanyun said, leaning back against the leather seat with an annoyed expression.

Zhan Feng was puzzled. "Just for that?"

「Meanwhile.」

The radio was broadcasting a news report. The influential Shen Junhuan had finalized a new project in Hangcheng City. If all went according to plan, the tycoon would invest tens of billions, making a humble contribution to the city's prosperity.

"Go see him," Shen Fanyun instructed. Zhan Feng didn't ask any questions and immediately started the car.

Shen Fanyun rolled down the window and casually lit a cigarette. It had been years since he had left. Returning to Hangcheng City, it felt as if nothing had changed, yet at the same time, as if everything had.

Shen Fanyun, I, Han Feng, am someone you'll spend your entire life looking up to but never reaching. Be smart and get out of Hangcheng City. Never come back. In my eyes, you're nothing but worthless mud that can't be plastered on a wall. You want to fight me? Give yourself fifty years, and you still wouldn't measure up to a single one of my fingers! You dare compete with me for a woman? Take a good look at yourself! Right now, I'm holding the woman you love. What can you possibly do about it?

Back then, for offending the rich second-generation heir Han Feng, he had nearly brought ruin upon his adoptive parents' family. This was a debt Shen Fanyun had remembered for many years.

If he hadn't met his master after leaving home, he wouldn't have spent ten years learning unparalleled martial arts and gathering the world's greatest heroes to his cause. In that case, he would have been left in the dust by unscrupulous heirs like Han Feng, with no hope for revenge in this lifetime.

Han Feng, I hear the Han Family is about to become the wealthiest in the region. No problem. I'm here to knock you down a peg! A wicked smile spread across Shen Fanyun's face.
