The Miami Heat's record this season would've easily put them in the Eastern Conference playoffs in the past two seasons, but now they can only compete with the 76ers, Pacers, and Raptors for the eighth spot.
The game started at 7 pm, and after 2 hours and 20 minutes of play, they narrowly defeated the Miami Heat 106-100.
The score was close, but for the entire game, the Bobcats won relatively smoothly.
The only challenge came from Wade, who scored a game-high 41 points and 11 assists.
Aside from Wade, only Marion scored in double digits for the Heat, shooting 5 for 13 and scoring 14 points with 5 rebounds. Beasley and Haslem, who were the third and fourth highest scorers, only scored 9 points each.
Wade led his team in several offensive surges, and they played well, but whenever he was subbed out or needed a breather, the Bobcats trio could take the lead again.
