She had just finished telling him everything, what happened at Derrick's pack, the sudden attack in the car, the incantations, the white smoke, the woman's powerful rescue, and her collapse.
Theo hadn't said a word the entire time she spoke. He simply listened, his face hard and unreadable. Now, he stood up.
"Let's go check on her," he said calmly.
Kimberly nodded. "She might be awake by now."
