The RV trip ended in a flurry of activity.
With about 4 days left of summer vacation, on the way back, Huo Feng drove for a whole day, finding a place to park and sleep at night.
It took a little over two days to return to Beijing.
By then, only two days of the summer break were left.
Pu Sangzhi had already contacted the kindergarten via her phone, and early on, she had processed Huo Yao's kindergarten enrollment paperwork.
It was time for Huo Yao to start kindergarten as well.
Huo Feng had to go back to work, and Pu Sangzhi also had to return to school to be a professor.
Having returned to the country as an overseas returnee, after accepting her position back at school, Pu Sangzhi would inevitably have many speeches lined up.
In the last two remaining days, she mostly stayed in her study preparing for her speeches and organizing her academic papers from over the years.
Little Huo Yao, after coming back from the trip, had a thoroughly refreshing two-day rest at home.
