"Yesterday, why did you drink so much? Didn't you say you wanted to get Pei Yicheng drunk?" Fang Manyin looked at Su Lie curiously. She had actually planned to join them last night, but Su Hong'en needed to buy some paintbrushes, which delayed her.
Su Lie cleared his throat and changed the topic, saying, "What time is it? Shouldn't we be taking Nianhua to school?"
Fang Manyin's lips curved up as she replied, "It's already ten o'clock. Dad's already taken Nianhua and Hongen to school, so you can keep sleeping."
She'd cleaned the room several times yesterday, so she was so tired she kept yawning. In the morning, after her father-in-law took Hongen to school, she went back to bed for another nap.
"You didn't end up getting him drunk last night, did you? You got yourself drunk instead, right?" Fang Manyin said gleefully, taking pleasure in his misfortune. She always thought Su Lie could really hold his liquor, but who knew...
"If you want to laugh, just laugh."
